I had a feeling you would eventually get your own mini, but I was kinda hoping it would have the ami axxis tilt rotator on it, seems like that would be super handy for some of the work you do
I want one so bad. Didn’t know the extra counter weight is an option. Defs something I’d get, I know what you mean when you say they get tippy. Chris is there a reason you didn’t get a heli-tilt put directly on the stick and got rid of the yanmar quick hitch? That way you can tilt any bucket you hook up to And it’s all in one, tilt hitch and quick hitch in one.
Nice, I originally wanted a Yanmar but could never get a price from my local dealer, so I ended up with a Deere with a Yanmar engine instead lol. Hydraulic thumbs are awesome!

You make the snow balls by rolling the snow, as you roll, it picks up trash. When it melts, the trash is left in a heap.

Oh no, you just received my hoe, right down to the extra counterweight and 4-way. I've had it ordered since Dec. Chris, is your grading bucket speced out for the 10-12K machine or the 12-14K machine, I'm working with AMI right now on a 42" and wanted the heavier bucket but was concerned about weight. Loved your demo over the side, that's what I needed to see, just wondering if you have the lighter speced bucket or heavy one. One's a 50 series the other is 60 series. Congrats on the new machine, I think that is one sexy unit and you just can't beat the 5 year warrantee on it! I wished I would have knew about your signature series bucket & thumb set-up when I ordered it, cuz it would have had it on there, now it's coming with Tag set-up.
I would say this is the heavier setup. I know yanmar are tippy that's why I went with the extra counterweight. I was really impressed that I had to rock the boom up and down with a full bucket for it to tip.
@@colinwallace5286 what you’re talking about is the old snap binders. I don’t know anybody who uses them anymore.I drove a lowbed for Years and the regular rachet binders like Chris is using over the bucket are just fine
@@DirtBrute I don’t think those are even legal any more if you’re “for hire”. I just remember the deck outfit I was working for thought they were saving money using the snap binders. Those things are a large headache.

It is the quicker picker-upper. A strawberry Shortcake doesn’t set rip rap, or compact soil or set pond over flow pipes. A Strawberry Shortcake makes mud pies and fills sandboxes at best. But “The Doctor” DOES play rough and tuff.
On yer new mulcher: knock down the whole tree as usual then mulch the outer (top) branches down to burning log size then cut to length. Your mulcher is just a small brush hawg. Look at your operating costs per hour, per sq yd and acre; got to be high. OR send it back and get you a BIG shredder; sell the chips. I watched a tree service chip whole tree branches easily 12” diameter. Okay, it means two men and capital outlay for giant shredder, BUT no burning and big time savings!

How do you like it? I purchased the same model and took it back a week later, I was very disappointed with it. Seemed fast (minus the bucket curl function) but not powerful. Valves also we’re very jerky if you got the joystick in a certain position, it would kind of “jump” and you could feel it in the joystick along with a very odd noise. Something didn’t seem right.

Yanmar do them in a few different shades (probably an option?). I've seen lime green, turquoise, orange and white ones before.
