Stevie talking about Pavel, got me remembering Pavel Nedved, what a player he was. I loved him, Redondo and Pirlo from back in the day. Also Prosinecki, the guy who was always smoking. What a midfielder he was. Sadly just saw Pavel Srnicek, who I think Stevie was talking about as the Czech goal keeper passed away in 2015. Gazza scored in his tribute game.
@@dyl7729 why we pulled out of the deal and he remained at Bayern. Not saying we should have paid the 2mil, just one I could remember reading about back then.
Get a rb and cm and f from spfl teams as backups. Play 1 acamdey player per league game expect felltik. Have the spfl boys as backups in europe and play early cup games to keep the main squad for league games and Europe and late stage cup games.
I have concerns over Barrons long term ability to stay injury free, but ability wise he is a good player. He could be useful for rotation, but for me Raskin and Diomande should be our starting CDMs. Big money for us have been spent on them and if we can get the best from them next season they could net us big money. I would still prefer David Watson and Lennon Miller over Barron. What lost us the league was mainly defense, along with a lack of firepower in the wide areas and the 10 position. I want rid of Tav, Godson and Davies, but can we also move on Matondo, Lawrence and Dowell? Pure pish on big money.
Re midfield Stevie, if we end up with starting midfield of injury prone Barron, Raskin and Diamande that would be extremely underwhelming… Imperative a dominant number 6 like Garcia is signed and also number 10’s Lawrence, Dowell, Hagi, Lammers, Cantwell are moved on and we bring in real goal scoring midfielders, ideally one of which is our new captain… Notice Shona’s stats you shared didn’t include Barron’s injury record…
Sterling should be starting right back, definitely need to sign a second right back… Imagine putting Devine or even worse Tavernier in against Celtic 🙈🫣
Good to see Stevie rightly always giving the credit to Shona for assimilating and making sense of players stats, plus her great ability to brilliantly read and comment on games. Perfect example of why females should absolutely do this job when the are the strongest at commenting and analysing games. Would love to see the likes of Joey Barton swallow his words after previously saying that only men should comment on the men's game
I never want to see my country lose. When it's the national team it's got nothing to do with Celtic or Rangers. I support all the Scotland players. I hope Scotland do us, as in the Scotland fans proud.
@@rangersnutnot true. That's WHY I stopped supporting Scotland.Just an excuse for club fans(including some of ours)to HATE Scottish players who play for clubs they hate. That and flag shaggers.Leave your politics at the turnstiles. It's about Football.
Yeah I think a lot of people in Northern Ireland will be supporting the Germans as well after the booing of our National Anthem at Hampden Park in March!
Are you serious ? Those were the days that nearly killed the club ffs. Get your head out of the Murray era and wake up. We cant spend money we dont have. FACT. We put pressure on Murray to spend and chase European glory and when it started to fall apart the same fans gave Murray nothing but abuse. Get a grip.
@@KINGMONKEY1989 Im aware of that, but what we're seeing right now just sickens me, im tired of coming 2nd to that lot all the damn time. You see folk taking over crappy wee clubs down south, why can we get some of that.
I would rather we were really shrewd, on wages and transfers and still had a club to support and long term if we are smarter but stay away from ones who have regular patterns of injury we can compete and win titles. It's the injury prone ones that hold us back, as well as those on big wages that deliver nothing each season. They need to go. Tav, Goldson, Davies, Matondo.
@colinmathie2710 Because there's no money in Scottish football....Guys with money aren't interested in investing. And sure the board turned down that American woman there last year when she was wanting to put some money into it...

Barron is a no brainer for me great Scottish talent
Barron: legs in the middle of the park - imagine!
I remember when Advocaat was in charge we were chasing a 15 year old Bastian Schweinsteiger and Bayern wanted 2 mil so we pulled out of the deal.
On what planet is any 15 year old worth that tho in any day and age never mind 24 years ago

As the young Italian knows if he can be good for Rangers, England is across the road ,Big 💰. RFC

Raskins awful. If we punt Tav then Sterling should be our rightback. If not it's him and Diomande in the Defensive mid.
@davidfraser6950 Raskin is a good player in my opinion, but to each their own.

How can people forget Walter thinking 10 million for Gabriel Batistuta was to expensive in 1997🤦♂️
Sterling wasted at right back
Raya won't even be playing for Spain at the tournament Stevie you madman he'll be on the bench
I think barron will end up in the championship but hopefully im wrong and he ends up at us.
And that's how to keep McGregor quiet take note Rangers
Get Barron deal done stop messing about

Clinton will start not knocking back a deal with ac Milan ti come to us and be a sub not a chance
I hope one of those leaving is Waller Stevie, i think he got his medical qualifications out of a lucky bag, hes been a disastrous re-appointment imo.
Gonny be a beautiful night when Germany pump the tartan tims

@neilmcilwrath5951 That's not right to do that and I don't condone that. There should be respect.
Those were the days when we were linked with the big names, instead of the bargain basement bollocks we're linked with/sign these days.
