I love watching your process. I fall into the trap of thinking I have to start with a fully formed idea. Watching you reminds me that I should spend more time brainstorming before I start on a piece. And your problem-solving while you sketch out the piece is very helpful to see. Your painting is great, I love how happy and carefree she looks.

I mean, you probably won’t blend a ton with pure paint
i think it’s cause the copics have a stronger and sturdier nib
Paint pen brush pens have bristly nibs and copic brush nibs are designed for blending.

You can stop the wood from bleeding if you put a layer of sealant on it first (i.e. clear or white gesso, spray sealant, liquitex liquid varnish) you have options to make it white or clear or whatever you want! Acrylic paint would work too, but youd lose the grain of the wood. Just an idea if you wanted to use wood again!

Yeah she knows. She just likes to only use everything they give her so if the wood would've looked better with sealant she wanted them to send her some.

half n half that’s because the ads are always at the same time for everyone. the little yellow squares along the scrub bar are where the ads are. and you’ll notice that there’s one at the very end of the video...

TH-camrs get to pick where the midroll ads go and you can see she just plopped one there without thinking. TH-camrs like TheRightOpinion really take time incorporating the ad into the video which is way nicer to watch because it shows an added element of care and it's not randomly abruptly cutting something up. So the other day by accident I found out you can treat the pain markers like actual paint. I was at work doing something with them and a little water got in a drip of paint I brushed it away and it worked like a thin paint. I dont know if that is a helpful tip or not. A happy little accident as mister Bob Ross would say.
Yeah, posca pens are water soluble (I think that's the right term) so you could use them more of like a watercolor paint. You could make colors lighter and even mix them without having to blend them on your final art piece.
I have a friend who used them together with watercolours to create a sort of space painting. It looked really cool, but the Posca pens ended really quickly though...
Yup, it's super fun. I did two videos using that technique after I got the box this month. I just discovered it too :)

I took a street art class once in high school, the teacher was cool and he definitely recommends using name tags and so on for small tag art because it's less damaging to whatever you put it on

fun fact , blobfish are deep water fish and the intense change in pressure is what gives them their distinct blob look. they actually look like normal fish in their natural environment

I cant even being to explain how much I love her art. I have my own style thats VERY cartoony (as u can see from my profile pic) and I just love listening to her describe what shes doing and try it myself. Like when she says she needs to work on certain poses, I realize I kinda need the same help so its always fun to watch her videos :)

I was just concepting an OC of mine during this. Her name is Alyssa and she’s a total Sagittarius. She’s part of a total of six OCs who are all like sisters. They have a very dark back story though (involving being held captive for twelve years) but they’re free now and I’m having fun with their personalities. Rn I’m loving Alyssa and her overalls 😍

@@drawingwiffwaffles Hi!, may I ask you a question. I know that you mentioned tangents, so that makes me think you have a strong understanding of character design. "What would I need to study to be able to draw like you?"
I find that poscas work best on cotton paper, preferably sized. Also, blending wet paint with your fingers helps stop and pilling. It's really good to a bunch of little dots instead of strokes and then blend them with your fingers.
