  • This is the first week of my six week mile training programme designed by Nick Willis.
    In this episode I share:
    - 01:50 - 04:28 My strengthening programme explained by Callum East physiotherapist - R&D Physio.
    - 04:30 - 08:56 The first hill rep training session.
    - 09:00 - 12:35 The first group hill rep session. I’m joined by fellow Tracksmith ambassador Molly Bryan.
    The group sessions are lead by Kate Carter a journalist, presenter, runner and coach. And by Ross Murray who competed for Great Britain at the 2012 Olympics, making it to the semi-finals of the 1500m. He now coaches athletes at all levels and across all running distances. His mile best is 3:52.
    From 10:21 onwards Ross gives a breakdown of how to approach hill rep sessions. Including key items that you should and shouldn't do!

    Great episode! Love the gym workout and the explanation of why strengthening certain muscle groups is important. And it looks like it was a hard workout but also seemed fun with the group!

    Love this series. Vaporflys looking a little unstable in the gym. Wouldn’t be my first choice of shoes.
