Gluteal minimus inserts at the Anterior Surface of Greater trochanter of Femur.
the best videos on the human muscles. Thank you!
isnt glutel maximus insert also on lateral condyle of tibia.
thanks - yeah it's a useful software!
Anterior fibers of the gluteus medius does abduction in all position of the hip, assist in flexion and medial rotation of hip, and posterior also abduct, and assist in extention and lateral rotation of hip.
you have no idea how much your videos help....especially with such an attractive accent :P cheers!
I follow you from Iraq, your explanation is very nice and thank you very much💙💙

what is the program being used to show the visuals in this tutorial?? would be nice to get a hold of this.
possibly in the future :)
Great information! One request that I think will be very useful and visually helpful when discussing the muscles and their movement if you could actually show the movement of the skeletal body. Thanks so much for the info!
Thank you so much

--- Thank you very much for these visual tutorials. I needed these. It's much appreciated.... Ben
Multiple texts also state that the gluteus medius and minimus along with tensor fascia latae all can internally rotate the hips, but for me its a bit difficult to imagine how the attachment site at the greater trochanter will help facilitate an internal rotation when the site itself is at a lateral position
Me watching this video 12 years later and I’m so grateful…… the visuals save me the time of trying to figure out my atlas 🥹🥹🥹🥹

This is an amazing video!! Great work. I learned quite a bit. May I ask which program you are using for your video? Is it something the public can get or do I need to be a student? I am a college student, but not enrolled in a anatomy class. Hopefully that doesn't matter. :)

anatomy is crushing injury
you learned me how to study anatomy .....
Thanks😍😍😍😍👌
Thanku sir
i think flexion and extention was wrong.. it shoul be opposite way that way is upper limb...
At the hip joint flexion is bringing the knee towards your chest, extension is moving the knee away from your chest. The only part where it is different from upper limb is at the knee joint vs elbow joint.

Can i get this app
at 1:13 you said gluteal... Please what was that? I didn't hear that clearly
Gluteal fold
para cuando subtitulado en español?
what is the difference between laterally rotation and abduction or medially rotation and adduction
In laterally rotation you just rotate your right foot towards right or your left foot towards left, keeping the leg still whereas in abduction you move your whole leg towards right or left, like when you make a step or two to the right or left, thats abduction. In medially rotation you move your right foot to the left or your left foot to the right but keeping your leg still and in adduction your whole leg is, lets say that you made 2 or 3 steps to the left or right and you want to bring your leg back. I hope it makes sense what i wrote here :(
I got it thanks:)
