That was a terrible trade in 2001. Traded Chris and 1st round pick for old ass Mark Jackson. Chris came back in playoffs and lit the Knicks up in the first round. That was the end of the Knicks winning era.

However, when you overpay for over the-hill-big names players, injury prone players and whatever free agent is avaliable for no good reason, It's completely on the ownership. Still weird though. Especially how much they talked about it in that Lakers Hulu documentary. As if we really wanted to know all the details of that disgusting ass relationship. It was seen as okay because Jeanie isnt below phil Jackson on the employee chain. She's above him so technically she would have been the one to get punished. But neither her or Phil were subordinates. They were both high ranking employees so I guess that's what makes it okay to them. To me though that was is disgusting and they shouldn't even be talking about it

A lot of people need to realize when a person buys a professional team they only do it as a flex like how people get rich and buy exotic cars or jewelry or art they have so much money that buying a professional team is like buying a luxury accessory a majority of their money does not come from the team so if you can understand that mindset you can understand why they make the decisions they choose to make

True Knicks fans decide who is a Knick forever. Organization did P. Ewing dirty. Ok yeah he was old, yeah his knees were bad. He needed a couple more years for financials. and management/ownership said nah, we got what we can get out of you. I understand it's a business, but he could've contributed off the bench and provided veteran leadership in the locker room. Karma is a b.... as a fan I've been suffering. Jeanie's daddy owned the damn team. Her father wasn't a fan of their relationship, but he was not going to punish his daughter nor her boyfriend. That's it and that's all. Also, I believe Jeanie's and Phil's relationship began before she had an official job with the Lakers organization. If whoever Ime was sleeping with daddy owned the team, he wouldn't be in trouble either.
