Marquez thought Rins will take the outside line on the final lap so he compensated and went wide to cover off Rins, but ended up giving Rins the inside line on a platter...what a move by Rins...amazing race...

Race to remember for ages... Best ever for me.
Back in the days when beating a prime Marc Marquez was a big achievement for the riders...
And Rins is one of the few along with Petrux, Viñales and Dovi (who is the only one who could seriously fight against a prime Marc in a regular basis) who did so in the 2019 season.

Prime Marquez was actually 13 14 15 16 17 18. Rossi Lorenzo dovi were the actual who gave him a fight and truly won against him. Prime Marquez was Something else. 2019 was boring no one had the pace marc had, Marc himself admitted in a conference that in 13,14,15,16 there were 4 riders capable of becoming a world champion, in 2019 he had no competition at all...

If I'm not mistaken, in the post race interview, Rins commented that the penultimate lap outside move to the line, was because he thought it was the last lap...But now knowing that the outside move wouldn't work, he went to the inside for final move...

Rins just dont want to lead as he get the opportunity on lap 12, and let MM lead again just to hide his final trick; convincing MM that hes gonna ovrtake him outside line at final corner, and then boom. Speed Momentum from the inside final corner line!🎉🎉🎉 Genius Rins
200 iq play possibly the most talented rider on the grid right now, absolute shame suzuki dropped out after such brilliant performances to end last year and then rins injury this year. almost tearing up watching the suzuki team celebrate this win what a crying shame 😢

Marquez did NOT open the door for Rins. Alex set up that line two corners before by taking a wider line which the announcer mistakenly said was an attempt to go around the outside. Rins was starting a different line that took him to the very edge of the track, allowing him to cut back at a sharper angle than Marquez. He was able to snap back because he was wider going in. It was brilliant!
Completely agree with you … that long look back from Alex told us all we needed to know … Marc looked rattled to me after this one … completely outdone in a fair fight … I still think there’s more to come from Alex … and I genuinely believe his move to Yamaha could turn out to be a genius master stroke! 👌🏼

Emocionante carrera ganarle a marc en 2019 era muy meritorio por qué venía aplastando a toda la parrilla, rins con astucia lo venia estudiando y ver dónde atacar y vencer al mejor piloto con la mejor moto, al final marc se le ve lo frustrado de haber perdido a nada de acabar la carrera pues lleva su bandera sin tanta emoción 😂

RINS WINS AGAIN!!! But not by much, as in a couple hundredths of a second like the previous race in Austria where Dovi narrowly edged out Marquez. Like I commented on that race, Marquez may not always win, but he is always in the hunt and is "all in" even when he could back off and take a safe second and still win the championship barring injury.

Marquez is a MotoGP champion & a legend nodoubt about it, but he hasn't really mastered the art of braking like VR46, hence those silly crashes, Valentino is on another level altogether.
