People try using the last laps of this an example of Marquez 'not being able to battle' despite the fact that Marc dislocated his shoulder THAT MORNING. It was also his rookie year, and he had won the previous 4 races. Silverstone has always suited the Yamaha over the Honda, so I think under the circumstances Marc being able to finish the race that close to Lorenzo is insane

I do Lorenzo was a such a beast of the rider he was a perfectionist hardly any mistakes it was a joy to watch him
Esta carrera estuvo muy buena, aunque Marc no ganó como primero, dio una muy buena lucha por ser el primer vencedor, rebasando varias veces, pero Lorenzo fue el primero que cruzo la meta y resultó también que en el podium resultaron ganadores tres españoles. Pedrosa, Marc Marquez y Lorenzo.

I wouldn't say they ruined it because there's been some good races but for sure it's worse than back in the day when Lorenzo and Pedrosa where still in the sport, though we have a really even grid these days where sometimes we have 20 riders in less than 1 second in Qualifying, the races are not that exciting anymore, usually someone checks out in front and that's it, and it seems to be a bit harder to overtake too, but still, I wouldn't stop watching MotoGP to watch F1 for example, because if things are not that exciting in MotoGP, I'm dead sure it's even worse in F1 which is snooze fest for most of the time and for almost 2 hours.

Those who are saying what about 2014 Silverstone should remember Lorenzo was never comfortable on 2014 tyres as they had that harder heat layers which robbed tyres of edge grip. This was rectified in 2015 and we saw lorenzo become champion.
Marquez lost the championship, it wasn't Lorenzo who won.

@@luisfernandocaroli3463 there was no reason for Honda to bet solely on Marquez back then. Pedrosa was still fast and in the championship race. Also it's not a F1 for you, nobody went over the radio and demanded for Pedrosa to back off. So you're off base here. Pedrosa just wasn't quite quick enough in this race

ロレンソは進入ではあまり詰めていないけれどラストラップでは今迄隠していた本気を出したところで決着。
ストレートではほぼ互角。だからホンダは勝つのは厳しい。
それと予選では1から6位までで既にタイム差が2sec位ある。やはり現在は予選タイム差が殆ど無い事が異常に感じる。

Coming back to see how gorgeous and clean/sleek looking the bikes are compared to now. I love MotoGP and will always watch it, but all these winglets and ugly designs with fins and spikes everywhere just isn't aesthetically pleasing and isn't needed in our sport. We're turning it into Formula 1 where rider skill is less important and if you aren't on the Ducati you can't compete.
