I have a 2020 Sentra SV w/o the Premium package, so cloth manual seats but it's very comfortable, I think fun to drive (I came from a Fusion Hybrid which had no shift points at all) yes I know the CVT doesn't need to shift. You pointed out the red color, mine is an electric blue, very bright in the sea of white, silver, gray, black vehicles on the road today. My 1st Nissan, I had rented a few and they all were comfortable, drove nice and had logic control layouts and infotainment. I'm actually on a 4 day road trip in mine this week.

Rented and drove one from Philadelphia, PA to San Antonio, Tx, to Indianapolis, IN and back to Philly with no complaints. Was comfortable and economically with plenty of room for our 55 pound Goldendoodle and stuff. We liked it better then the Corolla we drove previously.
I think that is how Nissan sells a lot of their cars. I drove a Kicks for a rental, and it made me decide to buy a new Kicks. I liked it, and I got compliments on it. I test drove my Kicks, but I didn't really need to as I had already driven one for over two weeks. Years ago, I rented an Altima and would have purchased one because I loved it, but it was too expensive for me at the time. I got a Geo Prizm instead. My Kicks is now almost two years old. All I've had to do are oil and filter changes and tire rotations. I also purchased a new cabin and engine filter. I plan to install them on my own, but I have not yet had time.
I nearly purchased a 2022 Nissan Sentra SV with the premium pkg. That premium pkg is one of the best interior upgrades on the market right now. I'm happy to have my Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid with Lux pkg, but the Nissan was going to be my backup if the Maverick didn't work out.
I bought a 24 SV with remote start, dual zone climate control, heated seats and wheel, and pearl white paint for $20433. A base Altima was $24k at the time and just wasn't worth it to me. Yes I felt like I had to buy the extended powertrain warranty because I don't trust Nissan cvts. Have to say though, it's comfortable, roomy, quiet, gets 40mpg consistently, and all it's saftey doo dads have worked perfectly. I'd buy it again and have zero complaints.
Interior looks great, they should have updated the infotainment system. At that price I would definitely go with a new Jetta or Mazda 3 instead. But the big thing here is that Nissan is going to offer heavy discounts, I bet you can get that same car brand new for four grand cheaper. But at MSRP the Mazda 3, the Elantra, K4 , the Civic, Corolla and the Jetta are just much nicer cars. Faster, better technology, etc., etc.. thank you for the great review Sam😊 Or even step it up and get a really nice Altima at that price
Ive been looking at this class of vehicles and the Jetta was my first choice but worries of high maintenace cost makes the Sentra a close 2nd with the Kia Soul at #3
The Sentra/Pulsar were amazing. They re-relesed them. But now, they're crap. They were released with a 1.6l turbo around the world. Now they're not and they're crap
just bought a brand new 2025 nissan sentra first time buyer i really like it i never even considered a nissan. ive heard bad things about old nissans but im hoping this will do me good

Until you get to dealership and the price goes up. Especially with all the extra charges. this happened to me with this same car.

If only manual transmission was an option. I currently drive a Nissan Versa Note and it is absolutely faultless.

You say other brands. Nissan has upgraded the infotainment systems and digital controls on its other models, for example, the Kicks and Murano.
Which are both brand new designs, which this one is not.

The rear vents are under the front seats .
We don’t consider those as rear vents, as they do not blow on your upper body

I’ve driven many Sentras and Corollas across the country. The Sentra is much better. The Corolla is more like the Versa.
