You need to invest in a sea bag, navy style. You can fit way more stuff in a sea bag than a suitcase! Plus it’s backpack style so it’s easy to carry. Then you’ll have more room under your bed because the sea at folds up into a small 10” square. -navy veteran

It is unbelievable how different things are from company to company. 🤭 You have such a tiny space and only half the closet that we get, but heck, you have a fridge and are allowed to decorate. We would get a verbal warning for those led lights and the sticker for the wall. This was so eye-opening 😱
It's interesting because even with Celebrity and Royal, the newer ships have a wide variety of cabins. Some are larger, some are smaller. It really depends on how you're ranked and where on the ship you're located. A lot of the older ships had the same room for everyone, with different bed configurations. That's been done away with these days.
Ooh the grey curtains are way better than the orange ones we had on Spectrum to match the bright orange walls lol. Definitely interesting to see what royal decides is their color scheme of choice for each class of ship haha
I worked Princess back 2003 shared cabin. Our cabins were larger, closets larger . desk larger. We had free laundry, dry cleaning for us /entertainers, I had one formal, 4-5 black pants, 5 tops , t shirts /2 pr tennis shoes, 1 dress, keyboard , cords , mic, that's it I packed light, at ports I'd buy 2 liters of soda, rum in jamaca, eat at buffets use at port internet cafe's which were cheaper 2003. Now we have phones. My cabin was so clean, oh we vacumed ourselves alternated took turns getting towels . housekeeping was a charge we did our own cleaning. 6 mos of that I had rough time getting on land lol..
I went to the Harmony of the Seas Jan 2020 and I enjoyed it so much I know it will be hard but when I get older I want to work there, greetings from Mexico :)

Was all dependent on the capacity and Booking of the cruise.
It seems pretty equal to me. Even if she does have more, I'm sure they agreed on how they will share their space. I'd be fine giving up a bit of my space if my roommate needed more.
Just comparing our cabins on the river cruise ships in Europe, the bathroom is the same (with a bigger sink), the cabin maybe tiny bit smaller as we got just one desk... But very similar in general, although not that nice looking and decorated :)

Cruise ships should plan far better accommodation for all crew members as if not for you all there would not be staff on board and the crap pay..passengers better pay more respect
