I’m so happy to see Bryan James on your channel, because have been bugging him forever to do a collab with you but he said that he didn’t know you. You are all such sweethearts!
I said the same when I saw him! But he didnt get an introduction right? Like did she mention his name and what he does on the ship like she did for the other folks?
Wow- how cool that your colleagues were open to share their rooms. I have to say the single room gave me second hand claustrophobia. It’s like a cell. I think I would not go to my room until I was ready to take a shower and go to bed. The lack of a window would also make me anxious. Kudos to all of you for making the most of your spaces and sharing an intimate part of your lives onboard.
Two people sharing a twin bed, you have to REALLY love someone to do that. I shared a full with my husband and it was tight but sweet that we were forced to snuggle. Thanks for sharing ❤
Thanks for showing the different crew cabins. Big Thanks to Sammie, Bryan, and Christian for allowing us to see their cabins. Great to see Bryan James, been watching his TH-cam Channel.
As always, you've created a cozy little "home" for you and Callum. The white brick wallpaper is a fabulous addition to the cabin. Somehow actually makes it look larger.
I’ve followed yourself and Bryan for so long, and it’s so fun to see you guys together and on the same ship! His potential nephew art forgery lore was too funny 😂 I was waiting for him to bring out his Apple Vision-I never understood the point of them until I saw him use his and turn his smaller space into a whole new world!
Yay Bryan James! His cabin-tour video with his VERY TALL bandmate next door is hilarious. So many conversations taking place around that toilet and tiny shower.
15:00 I did the takeout of Quantum of the Seas and had a single-share like this, except the bed folded up against the wall when not in use, like a Murphy bed, to provide more space. I loved it. I HATE sharing a cabin so it was definitely a step up. Like this fella, I am a musician. I WILL say though-as much as l loved it, when I flew home, I booked into a hotel with a King bed for a week, to treat myself to ‘starfish sleeping’ 😂
@glengamble526 - "Starfish sleeping" - hysterical way to describe being sprawled corner to corner to corner across the whole bed! I give you credit, I know I couldn't do an interior cabin, even if it were free. I need some kind of window, ANY kind of window, to keep my sanity.😊🪟
@Timmiehere - I wish I could take credit for coming up with such a descriptive term as 'Starfish Sleeping', but I was responding to glengamble526, who used the phrase in his comment.😊⭐️
Thank you so much for giving up the little bit of privacy you have to give us a look of the sacrifice you make daily to entertain us. Just show your show and you and the rest of the cast are so talented!
I use a sunrise clock, which is especially helpful during the winter months when it’s still dark out when I wake up. It essentially mimics a natural sunrise. It’s amazing!!!
I think that a small cabin, is what most people need . We nees to shower and sleep and bathe and live life big outside of that. Having your own space is priceless . Loved the video. Thanks to all your friends for sharing!!!
It was interesting to see how the crew cabins were decorated and the general set up. A big thank you to the crew that showed us their rooms! Your room looks cozy. I love the wallpaper, photos and lighting on your wall.
We just got off Utopia today and it was great seeing your show for a second time. Love how your feather duster fell apart and little by little you all picked up the pieces. Great show and loved you in the parade too!
I love the wallpaper background and how homey the cabin looks. I’ve been following Bryan for a few years and was glad to hear him sing and that the two of you did a small collaboration together!
Dang! Things have changed quite a lot in the past 25 years! I worked for RCI in the gift shops. Our shared cabins were 125 sq ft including the bathroom. My husband was in the orchestra/ orchestra leader and Musical director so his cabin changed with his rank. We had cabin stewards who would clean our cabins for us…including linens and towels.
Awesome video! Cool that others shared their spaces for your video! Oh, and it was awesome that Bryan James was willing to collab with you on this video! I’ve watched several of his videos and kept thinking, go say hi to Jordan, you’re on the same ship!!
Congratulations on being featured by US Figure Skating in their publications! Your crew cabin tour was utterly fascinating; I've always wondered how the crew on these ships lived. You are a talented journalist and your videos are keenly interesting. Subscribed!
Dang, having a single share cabin can be nice given the small square footage of the cabin, but it's also an adjustment to remember that sometimes you can open the bathroom door and someone else might be in it lol. Glad your friends were open to you filming their cabins!
I really enjoyed this video. The variations of each room. Your room was cute & cozy. I love how you decorated it. Christian room had the best view. I loved your skate captain Queen bed & finally the single room, I can't remember his name, but he was hilarious. Thank you for sharing ❤❤
Love your vlogs, I just recently found them this year and love them. Love to see you use your gifts and passion while on board, being able to travel and now being reunited with Callum. 🫶 Everything in your room looks so organized and it really does use the most amount of space possible.
I'm working on cruiseship also and the idea of having a small cabin is kinda a good way to learn how to live with no space, after living there i think I can manage to live in any room, no need that much space to be confortable, only the bed maybe, the rest is avarice hahaha. Great video Jordan, thanks for sharing!
LOVED this vid and so thankful your friends participated for the cabin crawl !!! All I think to myself is how BIG your cabin is!!! When I was in the Navy and had a cabin that size they would have put two bunk beds that are 3 racks high so like 6-8 people in that cabin and the bathroom (head) would be down the hall. I would have died to have a cabin with just 2 people or even myself....like I would have taken half pay to have that space on a 6 month deployment. Anyways, you decorated your cabin soooooooooooooo cute and love the brick wallpaper.
Womdering?? Can you leave things behind when u leave?? Like wallpaper, light or storage things for the next person. Love the wallpaper! You should get one of those alarm clocks that looks like the sun is coming up. Thanks for sharing your journeys with us
You should try one of those alarm clock/light things that simulate a sunrise (I’ve never tried one but I would imagine your room would be perfect for them)
Thanks to everybody for letting us see their cabins! Interesting to see the difference. Had to laugh at you saying "single share cabin", instead of single cabin lol. Do they share with themselves?! 😆😘 I got claustrophobia just looking at that room!Omg, it's like sleeping in a closet 😅. Nice to have privacy though. I used to hate having a room-mate with a passion. My room on land was WAY bigger, obviously, but i had some nightmare roomies in my time, trust me! 9 months of living with them, and your only single day off in the week was with your roommate, so you kinda got stuck with them, then too! 😖😬💖🏴⛸️
This was so interesting!!! Thanks for another great video and thanks to all of your friends for sharing too! Can you do a video highlighting other positions onboard?
Now you need to go down a deck and show the cabins with two bunk beds and no bathroom. I worked on ships from 96 to 02 and would have loved a single shared cabin! Although I did date the production/principal enertainers and most of them had pax cabins back them 😂
That was really interesting. You are all so organised. The carpet you have on the floor I am sure I have seen on Quantum class or Voyager class ships. Hope you didn't get "hand me down carpet". 😮 Thanks for another excellent vlog Jordan. 💐 Oh and thanks for the tip on what gift to give a crew member. ❤
Yes, or a light for S.A.D. Tricks your brain into thinking you're getting more daylight than you are. Boosts your mood. You can get them on Anazon too. Think the sunrise clock would would be brilliant for them!!
Thanks for showing us the different cabins!! Was very interesting to see! I’m glad for a high risk job the give them a nicer cabin! It would be really weird not to have a window you get so used to it in a house!! I think a Kronos video would be neat how you actually get paid. What you get paid for like shows all skates do you get paid for doing drills/muster or warm ups notes?
Hi! Do you have a video showing you changing the shower head? I know that sounds silly but I am worried about it for when I board a ship for my first contract
You are doing great. Remember perfection is not a human condition. I have to do the foods that I like. I can do lean protein but I really do not enjoy beans of any type. I can get them down in something like I have an old WW recipe for chicken enchalada soup and I can do beans that way. Keep up the good work. I have amped up my working out but my dieting is well non existant. I do eat realitively healthy. I have been doing my boot to 5k (p. t. and walking) or Eurotraining which is 5k 4 days per week. This summer in the south as been tough!! I have walked before 6am and I am retired. I am proud of myself for sticking to the walking even though early on it was painful and then the heat hit I stuck it out. I am enjoying your enthusiasm it helps me refocus.
Thank you for sharing this! How do the contracts work? Do you, as skaters, all have set contracts for the same length? Are you required to take a certain amount of time 'off' from your contract before starting up another contract (for how long?), or can you just go from contract to contract without taking a break? My nephew is a figure skater and is interested in being a skater on Royal Caribbean, but he isn't sure how the contracts work... Thank you, Jordan!!
A big thank you to the crew members willing to show their rooms!
they were so generous to help☺️
I’m so happy to see Bryan James on your channel, because have been bugging him forever to do a collab with you but he said that he didn’t know you. You are all such sweethearts!
yes yes a collab short would be awesome! i think he gave her a shout out on one of his videos.
It’s like my 2 worlds collided!!!! Love seeing Bryan on here.
I said the same when I saw him! But he didnt get an introduction right? Like did she mention his name and what he does on the ship like she did for the other folks?

Yeah, that room was an absolute nightmare! Imagine living in that "cupboard" for months on end! No thank you 😅😬
@@lindatannockI had to do that when I was at university. Even having a window didn’t help. You get used to it though. 😊
Two people sharing a twin bed, you have to REALLY love someone to do that. I shared a full with my husband and it was tight but sweet that we were forced to snuggle. Thanks for sharing ❤
from the video her bed looks like a full bed. I could be wrong
I shared a single lower bunk bed with my now husband, when we met in a travellers hostel, it was cramped, but hey 😅
@@courtneychan134it looks like a small double

Christian's canin is the best hands down. Being able to see the ocean and sunsets 💙
I’ve followed yourself and Bryan for so long, and it’s so fun to see you guys together and on the same ship! Omg the guy in the single share cabin was hilarious. When you ended with him on his bed with his VR headset I cried laughing.
Yay Bryan James! His cabin-tour video with his VERY TALL bandmate next door is hilarious. So many conversations taking place around that toilet and tiny shower.
Love that you put multiple rooms in one video! And so fun to see Bryan James!!

Yeah!! Do it!

I thought that it was awesome to see what a few cabins look like, and the crew were nice enough to show them. Have a fantastic day
I can't believe how small some of those cabins are, I couldn't. Featured performer room is NICE
Wow those single rooms are TINY! Hey I like his t-shirt idea. Oh those high diver rooms are nice!
Okay, that was the fjrst ive heard of a singkng straw and im completely fascinated 😮. I wanted to hear more!
Love the shout out to Bryan James! Great vlog

Brilliant rationalisation, Jordan! You have absolutely maximised the pretty restricted living space you have to work with. Well done! 👍🇨🇦
Idk how I got here but I really enjoyed this video 😂😂😂
Please make a video for safe and fun things to do in Nassau. We typically stay on the ship because we don't feel safe. Thank you
LOVE that you visited lots of different rooms! Very interesting! 😁👏👏
I liked the explication about warming up for singing 😂❤
This was a great video. I was visiting my friend who was a crew member in the spa. His cabin was tiny. There was so little storage.

A sunrise clock would work great for your home without a window.
it requires wifi☹️

Hey its Bryan - Love his channel as well
Think your room is the best set up. Apart from not having a port hole! 😢
Thank you for the video!
When I go on a cruise, I bring magnets, magnetic hooks, and even bring a shoe organizer and hang it on the wall with magnetic hooks.
Good morning Jordan happy Tuesday morning to you and I enjoy your channel and you are amazing supporter
Can we get you to do a life jacket demo? 😊😂
I'll be joining Icon soon, what kind of plugs do you have? Is 220v available?
Wow, just noticed the rock! Congrats! I think I missed a few videos?!
That was so fun to see the difference in crew cabins. Are the room stewards and food service employees 2 to a room like yours?

You should get a hatch alarm clock since you don’t have a window!!
So featured performers get a standard guest cabin pretty much.
I think I'd have to get one of those sunrise/sunset light up clocks or I'd never sleep time appropriately.
omg since the walls are magnetic your ice captain should get little magnets to mark all the places she and her husband have traveled on cruises
what do u do on days off? can you call off work?
