Well, with Arasaka pretty much in shambles in every ending minus the suicide one, I wouldn't be surprised if a possible sequel is about taking the fight to Militech
They use the knowledge gained from V to put Saburo engram in his son's body. They promised V they'll save his life and instead he ends up as a shell of his former self with daily nightmares. Eventually he gets told he'll have to sell his mind to them for free and lose his human rights or go back to Earth and die in 6 months anyways.
the main villain of the sequel could the mysterious people controlling the Peralez ( some say it could be Night Corp ). and the main villain could also be Militech since they are arguably just as powerful as Arasaka in 2077 ( after the canon ending, Militech is definitely way stronger than Arasaka )
Yeah it's sad. They had to finish in time "thanks" to the executive board and investors rushing the realease. CDPR would be better off without them as a private company (like Valve), not publicly traded.
That’s probably why I believe The Expansions and DLCs are going to be Massive..And if the rumors are true they are definitely going to be bigger and more longer than The Witcher Franchise expansions..Can’t wait!!! 💚
Wrong. Suicide and Devil endings see Arasaka being remaining stable. Star and World endings see Arasaka collapsing on itself. Arasaka put all of their chips on the Secure Your Soul program and as long as it functions, Arasaka survives.
Are these character models in-game or mods? Would love to do a quest with/for them. And some more corpo-quests. Arasaka was fine, but I was waiting for some Militech vs Arasaka vs NUS stuff.
I was hoping we would get more warfare between the Corps. Killing gangsters is one thing but you do just end up killing poor people (though scavengers and Tygers and Maelstrom deserve it) . We should have had way more corpo battles between biotechnica, arasaka, militech and kung tao
It is, the news outlet in nightcity has a clear pro Arasaka bias of course they make everything related to Militech sound bad and that perfectly understandable.
it's about the history of the cyberpunk world, Militech detonated a nuclear bomb in Night City and blamed it on Arasaka, and the governmet did nothing to compensate the people, which is why at some point People in Night City prefered Arasaka over Militech or the NUSA
If this game still follows the TTRPG lore, nobody west of the Mississippi river likes the US government, period. In lore, half of the registered voters in the NUSA hates Myers...

It's been a while, but I don't recall Arasaka being the worse for wear with The Devil ending...?

In Devil Ending, Arasaka won everything. Saburo became truly "immortal," basically dominate NC, & there is no more internal divide within Arasaka.

They are models within the game files, but not accessible without mods.
