    Whitesands is a full National Park now,it got bumped up from National Park status.
    I just spent a night in Las Cruces en route to Ruidoso. I love it in Las Cruces and potentially could retire there. Thank you so much for this video!

      @@patricktimothy8354 yes that’s true. Old habits. Born and raised here so white sands national monument doesn’t roll off the tongue. Glad you enjoyed your stay here! Did you eat anywhere fun during your quick stay?

      @@paxkassandra842 what brought you here for so long? Do you have family that lives here? When you’re ready to move, I’d be happy to help. Question, what do you love most about Las Cruces?

      @kaciehenke I tagged along with my husband for his work trip. I'm in love with the Organ mountains, the hiking was phenomenal. The culture, the laid-back vibe, the small town feel yet with anything you could possibly need, the agriculture, the food, the art, the history, the architecture, I just love it all. I'm gonna have to visit in the summer to see if I can stand the dry heat but I'm willing to suffer a bit to live there lol.

    What is that roar we hear everyday in north Las Cruces? It almost shakes the house! Just curious.👍

    • @kaciehenke
      @kaciehenke  28 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@royrice8021 honestly I have no clue. I’m not sure how north you live, but I’m pretty north as well and I don’t hear it. I do know that typically when our house does shake or windows rattle, Holloman Air Force Base is doing is responsible, and their sonic booms. Definitely much different than a roar though.

    I am a driver for DoorDash. How is the Las Cruces market for app based delivery services? I currently make about $50K/yr in Owensboro KY (About half the size of Las Cruces) Do you think I would make about the same or more there???

      @@PayneWewton i’m pretty sure people have allergies no matter where they go. I know that the agriculture and pecan trees stir up a lot of people‘s allergies when they’re blooming. I know I was born and raised in southern New Mexico, and I don’t have any allergies, neither do my kids or Husband., But on the other hand, there’s some people that have a ton of allergies during certain times of the year.

    I enjoyed your video but it really bothered me that your pool is out in the open without any fencing. I take it LC does not have any regulations on that.

    • @kaciehenke
      @kaciehenke  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@DebbieTessar hi Debbie! Thanks so much for watching my video. I’m glad you enjoyed it. There are different types of regulations regarding pools in Las Cruces. No we do not have to have a fence around our pool if we have an automatic pool cover or a pool covering of sorts that people can walk on. My pool happens to have cover that mounted below the decking, and can withhold a lot of weight. So we actually always have the cover closed unless we’re using it. But for the purpose of this video, I opened it because it was prettier.I hope this helps ease your mind. We have four kids and two dogs, so we were very cautious of safety. The pool cover that we have is actually way better than any fence.
