- In this video, I review the 2023 Subaru Impreza Sport Hatchback. With the new 2024 Impreza's being released to dealer lots any day now, I wanted to do a review of a 2023 so that when the 24's come out I can compare the 2. With that said, in the next few months, you may be able to find a smoking deal on a 2023 Impreza due to the new body coming out.. Overall I was pleased with the Sport as it handled very well. Is it the right vehicle for you? Watch this video and decide that for yourself..

9 seconds 0-60mph. time??
And they have the nerve to call this a "Sport" trim.
Great job in my dream Subaru vehicle bro.
Also I already subbed to your channel bro.
I love the CD player.
Great review! I've learned a lot about my 2022 Crosstrek from watching this video.
So for the 2024 sport there's minimal body difference, they took away the manual, same underpowered engine, but you have to pay "More" for side auto dimming mirrors, and for the "Sport" edition you still have to shell out more money for roof racks.
Yes but there is an RS trim now
Goldfish
Wrong, new engine now 182hp
Previous engine 152hp
Available on 2024 model

Wrong. The “Sport” model which Goldfish is talking about still has the 2.0l 152 hp engine.
Awaiting the 2024 rs more engine power.
👍🏼
Also waiting in white
The little soo-bar-oooo. Wow
Really thorough review. Does the Impreza sport have the heated wiper park feature?
It has a windshield wiper de-icer
Does it come with a rear backing feature?
It comes with a back up camera yes
Better looking than 2024 models full of unmatched color plastics. It's strange that rear cross traffic alert, a safety feature, is bundled with Harman Kardon and moon roof.
Agreed, my 21 is similar inside and the new models I’ve looked at for the sport aren’t as nice
Just ordered a 24 sport. Gotta wait til June though
I ordered a 2023 Premium six-speed, delivery due next Saturday. I would have ordered a '24, but the dealer said the 2024 would be CVT only.
I drove a CVT. I bought the stick shift.
@@5610winston manual Impreza is 5 speed only. I think you might have ordered a crosstrek
@@Align700nitro You're right.
The Impreza was a bit too low to the ground for my old bones. The Impreza would have fit my budget better, but the Crosstrek is really great.
@@5610winston it's always trade off, crosstrek roll a bit too much cornering, but have the nicer 6 speed.
@@Align700nitro I took a friend to Easter dinner (sixty mile ride to her house each way plus about fifteen each way to the restaurant) and averaged 35 mpg by the in-dash meter.
She judged that we can fit two medium-size transport crates in the cargo bay to take Norwegian Elkhounds to shows (grooming table and tools on the roof rack, but aerodynamically bankrupt).
She liked the ride, thinks it looks nice, loved the color (about 200 cars in the parking lot, mine was the only red one).
No, I'm not forty years younger or forty pounds lighter, but I've got a nice ride for some planned road trips (and whatever unplanned may arise as well).
If you enjoy driving and want an Impreza/Crosstrek you’ll unfortunately have to buy used from now on.
