Hagstrom has been on my should for over two decades both on stage and in the studio. These new features have me just as excited as the first time I picked up a Swede.
Sounds and looks killer ! SS frets, new inlays and metal pots and knobs... good call ! Still rockin my first guitar, a D2H deluxe ! I'd love to see natural oil finish one day ! oh and welcome on youtube !
I've owned a Hagstrom for several years now, and it is a hugely versatile guitar. It does everything similarly styled guitars can do, but better. Superb finish, great sustain, incredibly wide tonal variation and the neck and nut set up is immaculate. I own 'name' guitars that cost way more that are put to shame by it. These new models look and sound great.
Same kind of store here: I bought a Hagström DLX12 as a cheaper alternative for the 12 string Rickenbacker and, of course, the Byrds jangle, but Hagström is far from cheap as for quality: the DLX12 is way more playable than the Rick (broader neck), stays in tune far better and the tuning is way easier due to the tuning keys being all 12 at the same angle (contrary to the alternatively angled ones on the Rick, wonder why they ever did it). So much so that the DLX12 has become my main songwriting tool next to my Epiphone Casino.
I’m half way through paying up a D2H in a local pawn shop and I cannot wait tail i have it . It’s hands down theee best guitar I’ve played and I got it for under two hundred quid
The Ultra Swede was exactly what I was looking for -> Slim and fast neck, humbuckers with a coil split, 24 3/4" scale for nice bending, smaller body, light and gorgeous. Then I spent a hour or so with one in a music store and realized with the reduced body weight no one "balanced" the guitar design, so it is nose heavy. It pulls forward on the shoulder, because that is the "teeter" / pivot point, with reduced weight on the main body. And, very unfortunately, when you let go of the neck, it dives. You folks did so very well with this beautiful guitar. Except..... sad for such a very nice piece.
Actually, yes! Check our website, where wiring diagrams are available for download as a PDF. If you have any specific questions, you are welcome to send us a message via the website.
Absolutely killer models. So many features for the price, and the looks is just stunning. Do I understand correctly that the difference between new Swede and Super Swede is just in scale length, bridge pickup, shape of pickguard and available finishes?

I had heard that these guitars were excellent for quality and price, but I couldn't find any. I find out he's back.

Am I more shocked that the Swede is back, or that it has stainless steel and locking tuners, or that Hagstrom has a youtube channel?
Is there some kind of written/illustrated explanation of these switches? Like pdf?
Actually, yes!

The super splits the coils in both pickups to get the authentic fender sound on the long scale.
Correct! Both models have independent coil splits as well via the push/pull pots on each tone control.
what chord is the last one please?
Niçe to see stainless steel frets ❤❤❤
no lefthanders? you always showed love to the lefties.....
Will be coming. We always have our south pawed friends in mind, but always want to offer the most interesting solution for a LH option.
😅i always wish my lefthand was better coordinated on an RH guitar ...
The most interesting solution is full availability trust me...however understand the reality of manufacturing...@@hagstromguitarssweden
