How are people supposed to go to a physician to lose weight when health care is still so unaffordable these days that most people, who are fat don't have it.
You know what's worked well for me in my 72 years: eating less, exercising self control, using mirrors critically. Being Danish I don't mind Novo Nordisk making a killing on medication that I deem totally unnecessary for most users. But I fail to understand people who stuff themselves to the point of needing expensive, addictive drugs.
I found that cutting out the carbohydrates (breads and rice in particular), and eating more fiberious veggies and lean meats combined with an agressive walk for 40 minutes a day really helped. Changing the daily diet and routine was very difficult, but once I got through the first week it was easier. I walk at a pace where I would not be able to carry conversation with anyone, if they were with me. That approach is relative to each our conditioning.

And even when you do, you're talking to a doctor who can only say "you have to do something", bc they've only had 1-2 courses in nutrition

"Patients are allowed body autonomy."
Wish the supreme court agreed.
Rife. "They're ripe with" is an eggcorn.
Reflect briefly on the past, but don't dwell. Focus on what you can and will do in the present and future. Time is precious; use it wisely.
