I always imagine that those screeches are the anguished souls of the people that Daniel tortured and slaughtered. Knowing that his own curiosity got him trapped in this castle, their screams remind him of his guilt. Speaking of which, the castle in that game felt more like a giant tomb than a castle. Unnatural darkness. No way to escape. Trapped in there forever by rotting stone. That was probably intentional.
Mikko did a fantastic job with the music, its beyond unsettling, and the "screams" are still recognizable as such but don't really converge on the point of being "human" it still feels unnatural, almost animalistic.
Floating on top of a flimsy raft, at night, in an open ocean. Staring down, all you see is darkness. The screams of the sirens beckon you to plunge in the depths. Will you dive down to the abyss, forsake your existence? Or last through the night? This is what this song makes me think of.
This sets the perfect atmosphere to make you methodical but also panicking to get the fuck out of here, since there’s still an eldritch monster by your ankles
It is the echo of the abyss that haunts every human being. A reflection of insanity that is always there behind a veil of "normality". I know the feeling... D:
I feel drawn to this music, something about it keeps making me want to listen to it. I finally completed amnesia and I feel like I want to unravel more of its secrets. The music in this game is god tier in my opinion. It perfectly supports the game without it, I don't think it'd have the same effect This game to me is a 10/10 must play if you like supernatural horror.
This sounds sort of peaceful but also deranged. It's definitely got a spooky but a nostalgic vibe to it. Like they are preparing you for a terrifying encounter or something it's very ominous. The supernatural elements are what made this game for me. Cosmic horror done to perfection.

The only way to describe it as "Oh my god! Those are the dead?! SOMEONE! HELP ME!"

When someone goes through insanity:
That's how it feels when my anxiety, depression and insecurity team up together against me
This is so horrifying...
Something about the echoing screams in the background. That haunts me in a disturbing way

Geetar
Murder is about to happen because this music plays when you wake up the water creature.

The second phase of the cistern, I think?
@ElPenoxo LaSirena69 Sorry, what's that? I don't speak that language
@@Estuways they said "old archives". Not sure why tho.
Actually it's the cellar archives with the water creature.
A monster coming down that hallway in the picture?
