The backpack is improved and the new rifle is superior but the original shield and exposed thrusters are better and the antenna doesn’t matter
Imagine the size difference if that F91 was in scale and not 1/132 scale or whatever they made it in.
Hey Kakarot I've been saying this to friends who also build gunpla that bandai missed a great opportunity. For all the F91 jegans they should have sold it as where you can make have 1 base model but you can change different parts to make the other variants like the EZ-Sr. Where with that you could have so many customizing configurations with it, other jegans, and anything else that uses similar joints. Sure it'll be a bit pricey but the outcome would have been so much better

I've noticed that Kakarot often mentions the Jegan ECOAS type, yet I can't find any reviews of the ECOAS type on his channel.

Have you considered doing a review on the old NG Jegan? It's a pretty decent kit for it's time and price, and seeing this reminded me of it.
i got this model this month for around 14 dollars in equivalent and it's really good.
I am less annoyed about this being an exclusive than I was the Jegan D, but I guess it's fairly obscure, so it happens, even if I'd prefer it to be normal. Then again, I think I prefer the regular one a little, anyhow.
It's kind of interesting, the GM Custom almost looks more like the Jegan than it does other GMs. Wonder if there's any reason for that, maybe the folks at Anaheim Electronics liked the visor setup more on it than the more open one on GMs usually
I personally prefer the M type and R type. Not only do they come with a much cooler looking beam rifle (in my opinion at least) they also have more differences- the M type having the cool hip missile launchers and unique chestpiece, and the R type having MANY different parts (and looking like a proper high mobility/commander type.)

Tbh Kakarot, u should also get the P-Bandai Jegan A2 Type ( General Revil Deployment) bcos it has a heck ton of extra parts, an extra beam rifle, and alot more thrusters which makes it look beast even compared to the other Gundam type suits. But again, sadly, its P-Fking-Bandai.
+DarkphoenixF Kun It's indeed more badass looking than I remembered (I blame *that* scene for that), though I think the next P-bandai Jegan I'll get is the A-type/Commander Type/High Mobility Type/However you wanna call it type.

Hey Kakarot, what do you use to get such thick and crisp panel lines? Every time I try to line a model with a Gundam marker, it looks like poo.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a finished kit where panel lining improved the look of the model. Panel separation of the width depicted by lining would indicate very poor tolerances at the assembly line if the suits were at 1:1 scale. If you want to make a kit look more realistic, either a matte paint job or a metallic variant of a canon color palette will serve you better.
is it just me or the jegan normal type is just a technically ground type jegan? and yes it should be a regular release like the dom/rick dom 1/144 HG and it would be a greater bang for your buck when you get 2 in 1
Wow, that's really strange that the regular Jegan does not have the forehead and back camera. I've always liked the GM III more, but the Jegan has grown on me.
Are the pegs for the beam sabers compatible with anything? I think they're the same ones as Season 2 00 kits, like the Arios, but I wasn't sure if they fit with anything else, kind of like how season 1 00/ AGE/ and Astray kits kits have the same peg for their saber beams
Only thing about this kit that I don't care about is that shield. Sure it has twice as much launchers and those are hidden but old shield has one more color and it does not have big foil sticker.
The Barzam is getting a High Grade. Just wanted you to know before you ask.
This seems to me like it could have just been an add on set since it comes with all the normal Jegan parts as well. How old is this kit? The normal type that is.
The panel lining does so much for these kits.
I need help please. I am making a small gunpla team (1/144), but I am having trouble finding some suits. A major part is that the suits need to be either a prototype gundam, or a limited production suit. They also need to be in black (or navy blue) and white. Currently I have a gundam ground type, a hazel, a mk 2 (3 were made so im counting it lol), and a hrairoo (I know it a mobile armor, but I think it looks cool). Please help me. Thank you
Nu Gundam, Double X, crossbone Gundam and Full Armor Gundam (Thunderbolt Ver.) are the first oens that come to mind.

The only problem I have with the nu gundam (my knowledge on this topic is limited so I could be wrong) is it is just too advanced for the rest of the team, and I is only one of a kind. Thank you again! I also want to say I really enjoy you videos because you cover everything about the kit in a short high quality video.

Don't mount the fin funnels and talk about how this early mechanical demonstrator lacks the psychoframe?
Mk II was limited production suit, so in Titans colors it should be okay. The supposed mass produced product of the MK II was the Barzam which used the same inner frame but cheaper everything else.
Also consider the Blue Destiny Gundams (there are three of them, one of which has a GM like head) which are somewhat similar to the Ground Type but not the same.
Crossbone Gundam might be a bit small as it was built in the post F-91 MS miniaturization era and this may apply to the X and XX was well though I barely remember the particulars of the AW continuity.

Amen to that! There are so freaking many P-Bandai releases! The D type, the Stark Jegan CCA, the three F91 variants, the GR Jegan A2, the upcoming Ghost Jegan M and Ghost Jegan F...
The A2 as a P-Bandai is slightly justified in that matter.

This is mostly a list of all the P-Bandai Jegans. I agree that some of them should remain exclusive, but not all of them. The A2 actually appeared in two episodes- and had a good amount of air time- certainly more than the ReZEL Defensor which was only on screen a few seconds, and then the Sleeves Doven Wolf which was NEVER animated.
why the ReZEL defensor was made into a regular release when the standard GR ReZEl Command type wasn't (because Bandai has done regular release re-colors before, I'm looking at you Rick Dom II and Dom Tropen) is beyond me.

As much as I like my HGUC ReZEL Defensor... I'm inclined to agree. Especially if they had included both rifles.

The e-cap on the new beam rifle resembles the one on the Unicorn's Beam Magnum. Can't find any other suit that uses it, though.
What about the MK-II?
Possible. I'd find it surprising though since the MkII was built in 0086, and that design of e-cap was not used by any other MS until the Unicorn started spamming them like nuts. A time gap of 10 years. And here the Jegan of 0123 is using them, almost another 30 years down the line.

The point is that they seemingly stop production of this particular e-cap design for years at a time. An old design at that.
