This whole time I’ve been keeping my router bits right next to my router table like an idiot! 😂
Hahahah!!! That’s all wrong!!!! 😂
Great video! Awesome shop. What type of setup is that for the dust in the air ? Caterpillar drum fan ? attached to what?
I appreciate that! You are spot on, it’s a caterpillar fan and a MERV 15 environment filter (Wynn). Let me see if I can add the link in descriptions later!
Good job, looking forward to seeing many more.
Thanks Don! Next one will be an initial thoughts on the Harvey DC! Just quick and easy first thoughts 👊🏼
@@HescottDesignCo I'd like to see how you make them table legs. I think that would be a good video.
@@DonAzzopI may just do something on these at some point! Might be a good one to see 👊🏼
Great video and shop tour. I'm trying to get the nerve to post my first video and thought of doing a shop tour. Thanks for the inspiration. You have a new subscriber.
@@Finewoodworkingofsc Hey thanks! That’s very kind of you to say! And you should for sure do a video, people enjoy seeing how folks have stuff laid out. I’ll bet you have some good ideas to share! Really appreciate the support! 👊🏼
OMG!!! Love the content! Keep it up❤❤❤
That’s super kind of you to say! Thanks!
having a store front showroom is something i didn’t know i wanted but now it’s a goal!
@@Ferreri.Workshop It does feel good to try and make a dream come true…hoping this goes well. I’ve always wanted to give this a try and hopefully fail or succeed, I’ll show my kids you’re never too old to chase a dream. Appreciate the kind words! 👊🏼
Your front of house is STUNNING. I love it. I’ve given myself the goal of 3 years to get my business income to a level that will sustain my own shopfront, inspired by your journey. Can’t wait to see what you build there!
@@neilphillips9163 That’s super kind of you to say! Really appreciate that and best of luck to you as well!
@@HescottDesignCo been following since you announced the first video in the series and love your content!
@@neilphillips9163 I appreciate that! I’m trying my best here on TH-cam, long ways to go though. I’d like to get more videos out per month, but don’t want to churn out content for content. Still learning! Kind of you to watch and offer good feedback! 👊🏼
Great shop
@@jimrosson6702 I appreciate that! Always a work in progress, but it’s headed the right direction!
The storefront looks great, fabulous building 🙌
@@carpentryjoineryandcabinet6335 Super kind of you to say! I appreciate that!
Nice place! And lots of great stuff!!
@@tab01560 Hey thanks! That’s very kind! I’m trying my best!
I don't know if you got time to answer a question like this - I have the Oneida Gorilla like you. What small things like the Festool sander, router, drill press, 12" sanders etc. (Small things) can be used with it. 1 1/2" inlet items. There seems to be a question about air flow. At 73 I am a big Celtic fan - started with people like Havlicek and the Chief, Bill Russell. .
@@andrewpinson1268 Hey! Fellow Celtics fan! I started watching around 1982 and was spoiled watching Bird, McHale and Parrish! Great years for sure and I have a huge appreciation for those older teams as well! To answer the dust collection question in regard to smaller inlet tools. I’ve found that using just a good shop vac works better for those actually. The action of decreasing the hose diameter from the 6” Mini Gorilla will hamper the CFM and prevent good flow/suction. I’m not sure on the science of it all, but the shop vacs are better suited to pull vacuum on those smaller style tools. Festool, Fein, SurPrep and Mirka make very nice versions…but they can be pricey. I got by using a Rigid teamed up with a Dust Deputy for many years! Worked very well! Appreciate the comment and Go Celtics!!!
@@HescottDesignCo Thanks. I forgot to say that I do have three Fein (high dollar) vacuums. However I am trying to justify having bought the Oneida. I only have a small jointer, 13" planer, router table and nothing else big for now. Miter saw and small table saw might be used on it.
@@andrewpinson1268 This seems like a great way to buy some new tools to use it on! At least that’s what I would tell myself! I will say my Mini Gorilla did a very fine job these last 6 years of use. Great little machine and you’ll enjoy having it in your shop space.
I purchased a dust collection port for my dewalt miter. It worked great. Sucked everything up. I downgraded to a festool miter saw and the dust collection is horrendous.
@@CustomWoodWorkDecor I had an aftermarket attachment from ShopNation that collected pretty well, but that broke. These dang miter saws are always such huge mess makers in the shop! That’s too bad about the Festool, I didn’t know they were bad as well for DC.
@@HescottDesignCo That dust port attachment I purchased was also from Shopnation. It worked great. And yes, the Festool miter is super overrated. I like the extension stand. It’s accurate as long as your add 1/8” to any measurement.
You have an air filter on the floor. It says “gate pillar” I think. Can you tell me where you got that and who the manufacturer is? Thank you.
If you mean the 24”x24” filter over the floor air return, I just grabbed it from Amazon. Trying to keep the dust out of the furnace a bit. Let me know if that’s what you mean 👊🏼☺️
Let’s goooo
@@currycases Thanks!!! I’m trying!!! 👊🏼☺️
Came out great, but You forgot to show off the Clamp Wall....
Thanks Joe! Gosh, that clamp wall sure would be nice to get back in this space again!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks! I appreciate that!
I have clamp envy.😅
Hahaha!!! You just can never have enough! 😊
