I was divorced in 1975 and this song was heaven to me. I searched for this song for years and could never find it until the internet and Utube. So happy I found it.
What a wonderful song! The lyrics everyone wants to find some love are just as relevant today in 2021 as when he first sang them back in the 70s. Great music from a musician who didn't make it big on the charts, but touched a lot of our hearts anyway with his talent.
Wow…..awesome singer and arranger…I remember you when you sat in back of me in home room during our school years….too bad you didn’t come to our HS 50th reunion…we missed you.

"Everybody Wants to Find a Bluebird" is from his 1974 album, “Prime Cuts”; it reached #92 Pop US and #18 AC (US). Randy Edelman (born June 10, 1947) is an American musician, producer, and composer for film and television. He produced several solo albums of songs (some of which were later recorded by The Carpenters ("I Can't Make Music", "Piano Picker" and "You"), Barry Manilow ("Weekend in New England"), "If Love Is Real" from Olivia Newton-John's Making a Good Thing Better, Dionne Warwick, The Laughter and the Tears, Blood Sweat and Tears, Blue Street, and many others.
Same here; just on some whim I got it from a bargain bin at a record store probably not too long after it came out. Ended up being 1 of my favorite albums of all time.
