I used to live in Costa Rica down by the Panamanian border in a little beach town called Pavones. My buddies had a house way out in a pasture and I remember walking through it at night and being in awe of the stars during the dry season. They were amazing when I was in the Dry Tortugas too when it was clear. Now I'm by the Chesapeake Bay and there's lots of lights but not from the stars. I noticed the lights around the Bay earlier this evening from a pier. It's not as pretty as the stars in a clear place, but it's cool.
It's a shame we've killed our contact with the most soul centering thing there possibly could be. The light pollution is inevitable to some degree unless you are 100+miles offshore. Truly an amazing thing to experience.
That dog snapper was so big I thought it was a cubera for a second. Beautiful fish. And the pictures of the stars over Fort Jefferson and the sky were gorgeous too. Nice hogfish too!
Awesome 3-day adventure to include the entire package. The experience and catch were epic, camping was the real deal, and the at-home" broth" and culinary experience with fish heads/rack was simply amazing. I subscribe to "Cooking with Clams as well. Will is as innovative as a chef can be! Between you and Will....the "catch and cook" is legendary. Thank you and the entire crew!
Wow, what an epic adventure, thanks so much for taking us along. The hunting, photography, weather, company etc..., As outdoor humans we all dream of the stars aligning. Truly memoriable adventure!!
You are quite the chef young man enjoy watching your videos I live in the keys for 55 years I wasn't smart like you I work for Sears warehouse in delivery. Also mosquito control, also an electrician in the early 80s love your videos glad the man that buys your fish got to do what he's doing my kids knew him when he was young man coming up. Be safe one of my friends sons died with a shallow water blackout off of little torch many years ago little Joey. Enjoy and thank you
Great underwater action. Biggest dog snapper I've ever seen. Appreciate how you're able to utilize the entire fish. My mouth was watering there with the crunchy rib fingers and the stock.
I think by using every last possible bit of that Black Grouper I think you are respecting its life right to point that it provided you with the awesome looking meal. Another fantastic video as always.
This is 1 of the best channels on TH-cam….. 😊The people are so nice soft and well spoken….. Happy people… keep up the fantastic work family…… blessings 🙏🏽👊🏽💪🏽💯👏🏽
Hey Aaron, I heard Gabe talking the other day about watching the entire video was much better for y’all. So I watch the whole thing and always give the thumbs up! Thanks bro! Always look forward to seeing y’all!
Between you and will i have learned so many different ways to cook fish and break them down. I usually throw grouper collars (when i can find them) in my low country boils. The meat hold so much flavor. Again, thanks for another awesome video 🤘
Honestly dude I can’t wait to book a trip with you just to meet you. Love your videos. Totally inspirational. The one thing you do best in everything that you do is ORGANIZATION. You are organized, methodical, on point. 👏
I'm a novice gopro snorkeler last trip to KW 2022 I had bought a set of lens filters. The set I got came with 6 filters, only a slight easy to find adjustments were needed. Now I used the polarizer and 1st water filer which throws a red tint at the surface but does a wonderful job at depth. However, there is a another filter in the set that I think would be better for your considering your dive depths.. Check it out, it was inexpensive. Loved the series by the way.
Well, just when I thought I’d seen your best you drop this video on us… Completely amazing! So well done. Thank you for bringing us along on the adventure. It’s also amazing how much protein you recovered that would normally have been tossed overboard. I’ll bet those ribs were delectable all by themselves! I’ll see you next week.
came for the adventure, camping, and fishing... stuck around for the kitchen work and cooking! great Day 3 on the water, and i was surprised how much i wanted to see the kitchen work through to the end. let us know when the KWW cookbook comes out! or at least a playlist ;-) this was great!
Former Chef (now contractor) and I grew up and still live on the West side of Mobile Bay just wanna say this is my favorite channel on youtube. I appreciate your attitude the most (I really can't stand some of the fishing personalities on youtube), one of these days I'm going to book a charter to go out with ya for real one day. . . Keep up the great work! Also.. Can you make stickers or t-shirts or hats that says in some form "Welcome Back Underwater Everybody" ...
I just used the recipe from this video with a big slot Redfish. It is so delicious. Thank you for always being a great source for all things fish and water-related.
Man, you’re crushing it. I haven’t gotten down to the Tortuga’s in several years, but that was a trip of a lifetime. I did learn that a red clip on lens filter for my GoPro mask helped the underwater color balance tremendously. Thanks for bringing us along! Fair winds buddy
Wow!! Totally Awsome!! I love how you take parts of the fish....that alot if people throw away....and show everyone how to prepair it like a 5star restaurant.....thanks for sharing your adventure and culinary work!!! WELL DONE...ON ALL !!
Wow, you sure were blessed with the weather. Been waiting all week for the third of the trilogy. Thought you might put it out early. Sure miss being down there . James sure got the photograpy down. Great pictures. Some of those in your scrap book would be special. Your kids and grand kids gonna love those man. Thanks and god bless!
I’m jealous again. Whole trip was amazing and that soup made my jaws ache. Had to pause the video and text my wife to make a soup that I love, it’s not fish and coconut but just the idea made me need it.
Love that you got those night shots! I was telling people you could see not just the stars but also the galaxies out there! My iPhone couldn’t pick it up. I actually slept on the deck of my boat with no tent. Any time I woke up, that was my view. I was anchored on pretty much the same spot as you. Maybe just a tad bit over to stay out of the way of the sea planes.
When you said nobody has found food value for those grey chubs... I could hear a will in the background saying,,, I'll bet you I can...lol your dinner "YUM" TNX 4 VID LOL ❤ THE PHOTOS
Just an incredible trip that would be a dream for me. The attention to detail you exhibit is a great example to us all. The recipe is in my archive to try later this summer when we are in Tavernier. Thanks' again for the work you do.
Loved this series so much. Can’t ever get enough of your dive/ spearfishing skills. Thanks for explaining too. Day 3 of diving and how’d you keep fish fresh. Do they sell ice Fort Jefferson? Really great videos!
Hi Aaron! Man I’ve cut out a lot of cheeks but have never scooped one out after cooking it. That was cool just like a scoop of ice cream only better. Great job man! Glad y’all had great weather for your trip! Thanks man!!
Thank you Aaron for giving us always quality content... indeed its hard to find channels that are very interesting and with a sense like yours... its so easy to waste your time on some channels without a profound sense of story... but yours eversince i can say, never ever did you wasted my time in your videos... yeah right you never stop giving us enjoyment...for you and Madeline..(I hope I did the speeling right hehehe)Thank you from the bottom of my heart....
Near the end, in the kitchen, you asked if the camera could see you. Sorry but, we were all looking at Madelline anyway. She's so cute. 😊 We missed you. Too bad you didn't get to go along.
Amazing pictures of those fish!! The dry tortugas have been on the bucket list for a while, need to make that trip happen. Great job as always KWWM & Co

We used to do a lot of camping and cooking at night. Making a fish soup was a must. Someone gave me a suggestion and now I swear by it. Buy cheese cloth and place the head and other meat in the the cheese cloth and once you are done making the soup take the cheese cloth out unwrap it, pick what ever meat you want for the soup and you have the cleanest broth ever. no bones, nothing. Love the videos. P.S. Tried to dive in my pool 6' the other day had an ear ache for the rest of the day ))) Need to learn
I've eaten a lot of Bermuda chubs growing up in Islamorada. We used to filet them out And cook them on the grill with butter, onions, and lemon white meaty fish.
Well I just want fish soup now. Great use of the whole fish. Nice to see. The Fish ribs thing is really cool. With some noodles you have one bad ass Ramen dish.

I caught a bermuda chub a few weeks ago - they are notorious for pooing all over the deck which the one I caught did. My buddy said you don't eat them but after googling you can eat them but you need to bleed/gut them - as some have a strong odor - not pleasant!
Wow you could see the Universe down there with no light pollution!
Nothing like it!

I've messed with the filters a bit, never been a big fan of them. I like people to see it as I do.
