Thank you so much for this upload! There is very few uploads that captures the sound with clarity. I'm definitely getting this slip-on for my '16 s1krr.
If you dont have the money right now, a cool trick for the stock exhaust is to remove the baffle on that (it has tack weilds break them first) cut the baffles to the decorative plate so you can put it back on to keep the finish. Then remove the exhaust servo and add a servo buddy so no engine light is on OR remove the cable links and keep the cable going to the valve location. the valve has a spring that keeps the valve open if the cable links arent connected to it. I did this for awhile and it sounds wicked for stock! if you didnt show someone they would have guessed it was aftermarket... some even asked if it was aftermarket because of the sound, which is silly, look at the damn thing. Closer to the end of last season i purchased the same exhaust STG installed here SC chronic and right away i said the exact same things. Build quality is amazing, it feels solid, wields are mint and looks of high end quality. I highly recommend SC project and couldnt be happier with the results. I chose the conic because the other options would just be too loud for the street and this exhaust provides a solid volume level without getting annoyed by the exhaust after a solid 6+ hour haul. great install videos STG! short, simple, accurate and too the point
hello i hope you can be able to read my comment. do i need to tune my bike as i install slip ons exhaust for bmw s1000rr? hope you can reply :) from philippines
Want to ask. Just bought mt 07 a couple weeks ago, decided to change the exhaust. If it is just a slip on (m4 street slayer), do i need to send the bike for tuning or that just applies for a full system exhaust? Thank you.
You might want to increase the rear mono shock height a little bit more to make the bike and the seating position look more aggressive... if its an adjustable shock that is.. Anyways.. great video.
Question: I just received my SC Slip for my 2016 S1000rr. The SC's bracket doesn't line up with the whole on the rearset of the s1000. Should I bend/force it in or send it back to SC? Thank you in advance.
If I saved up money for a $20,000 bike I wouldn't lean it that hard unless I'm in a track. But in this case, it is possible that the bike just got a new home and haven't got a chance to lean :)
WD 40 can be used for many things including cleaning exhaust pipes before you start them the first time. I use this to clean stainless steel and ti systems after installing them before they are started the first time. - Brian Van
best sound ever from s1000rr
great! now what i need is a s1000rr and sc project

Sorry we do not have the SC Project exhaust on the site. If you would like to order one please shoot an email to cody@sportbiketrackgear.com
Great Video!
Cool video. It would have been better if we could have heard the stock muffler in comparison
This is something we started doing with exhaust installs sometime after this one was completed. Thanks for watching! - Van
Nice
That exhaust sounds amazing! I just purchased an SC Project CR-T exhaust for my 2016 S1K and can't wait for it to arrive!! Nice video!
Once you've removed the insert of the exhaust, is it possible to put it back or isn't it?
I am not sure to be honest. We do not sell SC and only did this video because this bike belonged to one of our staff. - Van
how to remove the baffle. did they change it? i need to drill it out, dont see an other option on mine.
Sorry we do not sell that brand here and it has been a long time since we shot this video. - Van
will the check engine light up with an slip-on install? Looks like the servo motor is still connected.
As long as you have not disconnected the servo motor you will be good to go. - Van
GOD DAMN that stock exhaust is bigger than the damn bike
ebubekir binici seen the 2017 gsxr 1000's?
Wow! What a difference, now it looks better & sounds better!
Is the S1000 BMWs top sports bike or is there a faster version to this one?
BMW HP4 is like an upgraded version of the S1000RR. But hell, nothing is too fast...
Newbee Rider Oh ok
Great video dear, please I need to know if is possible occurs pops fire on quick shifter with this pipe or I need use to full system to pops?
Thanks!!

No need to tune this after installing a slip on. - Van
This slip on have to sell on eBay? How much?
Love the SC EXHAUST. Can you get Austin racing on the BMW s1000 2016 if not can you talk about Austin Racing exhaust
Is the cat still on the bike? Great sounding can.
Nice product
Great add-on. Are you or he gonna replace the break lights...or does the exhaust come in contact with them, I was thinking
of doing the same.
Sorry but if I'm correct the center part is not carbon, just the end tip is.
Thats a Carbon fiber sleeve over that is riveted to it.
Can we get a soundtrack on that exhaust?
Meaning ride by hard acceleration

Negative a slip on is just for looks and sound
Great vid Brian, however your guy should have went with a Taylormade Exhaust. I have one on my 2014 S1000RR and it looks soooooo swwweeeeeet! :)
I love SC project, my frend have the same exhust on Z800, its sound much better then Akrapovic. I love the CRT, GP70 and the S1 can
Just installed my sc project S1 slip on. And I also didn't need that washer in the back. Went with the S1 cuz I wanted to wake up the dead
Still to quiet . Maybe it's cuz I'm not there next to it. But sc project S1 Maybe the way to go!

Tell Cory I'll take his DB killer. 96 db limit at my local track ☹
I'm mo interested in the bell tbh

He definitely needs to learn to lean the bike over a bit more looking at them tyres!
If I saved up money for a $20,000 bike I wouldn't lean it that hard unless I'm in a track. But in this case, it is possible that the bike just got a new home and haven't got a chance to lean :)
I'm only messing around
I like the way you think! Take it to the track when you push, ride it cool on the street. - Van
Could feed a inner city family of 7 with those chicken strips!
Give me a break man I am getting old, plus I love me some chicken! - Van
that sounds angry
This exhaust can be installed 160cc bike?
Chiếc này có tháo bầu hơi ko
No idea what you typed in there brother. - Van
If you can say 'cheese' then you can definitely say 'Akrapovic' correctly.
WD 40 is for removing rust, not for cleaning
