The muffler is fantastic and is supposed to add some 3-5 hp but truth is it's very difficult to actually physically notice that type of difference on a 1000 without doing some testing on the dyno or drag strip. My approach was to use SC Project in conjunction with a fuel system and dyno turning and we dropped 1 second over the quarter mile as a result. The video of the dyno testing is here - th-cam.com/video/UvpK_EvHRSc/w-d-xo.html - but be aware the results are based on the Power commander dyno system. I'd always whack one of these on even if it's just to get the weight reduction benefits.
@@TheBikeStig ok thank you for answering .. my concern was that i would lose power it's not about gaining 2-3hp because i found some forums and they say with sc slip on bike lose power .. like a lot power .. but thank you .. i have now akrapovic but i'll try sc because looks and sound :)
@@MrSubic89 its a bit weird they'd say 'lose power', doesn't make sense technically unless they put on a more restricted muffler. If it breathes better you'll get a power increase usually but remember they can run a bit lean at high revs no matter what muffler you put on
Great Video. I've ordered one for my 2016 BMW S1000RR. Thanks again
Awesome, enjoy it mate
Hey mate noticed you have the hp rearsets on your bike
Any issues fitting the muffler on with them?
Cheers
No issues at all mate
do you drill out the baffle?
no mate, it is held in with a circle and is removable on the Conic
@@TheBikeStig thank you stig. i think they changed something then, on mine its hold with a screw i cant reache, i would have to drill.
@@Schule28 maybe check in with the manufacturer just to make sure, it should be removable.
did you notice any difrence in power ?

looks better and sounds better...compared to that ugly stock exhaust.
