- In this Video Jay and Tom are on the chase for trout, in the Delatite river outside of Mansfield. A mixed bag of both brown and rainbow trout made an awesome afternoon session! Hope you enjoy!
Gday Lads,
Great to see both the spin gear and the fly rod gettin it done, and you gotta love that first cast hookup 👌
Ripper looking spot to
Hey mate! First casts are top tier! Always sets you up for the rest of the session! Glad you enjoyed it!
I've been waiting for another video to drop! I'll have to watch this one tonight!
Awesome! Love the support man!
@ONTHECHASEFISHING no worries at all mate! Love the videos!
I thought Australia was one giant desert...Live and learn.
Haha we have some pretty rad spots!
I'd get rid of the lure fishing and stick to fly.... treble hooks are fish killers.... one small barbless hook on a fly is plenty ...
Treble hooks? What about the total lack of fish handling skills when releasing?
Where ya net? The way you treated those wild fish is really disgusting, dragging them up onto rocks and dropping them 3 or 4 times back onto the rocks and laughing about it. You guys should no better. Got all the gear but no net!!
Maybe do a search on what happens to trout when they lose some of there slime that’s on them, leaves them
Open to infections and skin diseases, those fish u heavy handles with no care will
Have a high mortality rate due to them losing there slime as they bash over all the rocks, let alone the 3 huge treble hooks that ruins there mouths.
So dissapointing to watch, i had to turn it off. Poor wild fish.
Should know better!!
Hey mate thanks for the feedback:) will take it into consideration for next time:)
That's what lure fishos do... they don't realise how many fish die after release ... often 2 treble hooks embedded into the fish....
