Using intricately shot natural footage, Chris Packham reveals the hidden wonder of the creatures that we share the planet with, and the intricate, clever and bizarre connections between the species, without which life just could not survive. From the rainforests of Brazil, through the fertile plains of Kenya and out into the wintry wilds of North America, Packham shows us the natural world like it has never been seen before.

Sloths are absolutely beautiful creatures and we are blessed to be able to share the earth with them.
Is that why Sloth's always look like they're tripping balls? They survive on toxic plants!
Nice profile picture.

In case you don't know, the plant that the sloth is eating is the embaúba, whose fruits are the toucans' favorite food.

While climbing, it reminds you of those electricity linesmen and their spikes. Could it be that they were inspired by a sloth?

There was a video of a sloth trying to cross the street. When this guy tried to help him, the sloth got gangsta... I've never seen someone throw a hook that slow in my life... the guy kept getting out of the way but he was laughing the whole time. Then he stopped and said all right I guess you don't want any help lol...

It's another new month, another new week, and it's definitely fall.
I hope you're doing something beautiful/fascinating, and that good health and good feelings are with you. ^^

Who says "sloth" like "slowth"?
I was baffled at the pronunciation too. Never have I heard SLOTH (Slaw-th) pronounced like that. It kind of makes sense since they're slow.
Its the correct way to pronounce it. o is not proceeded by a vowel so the sound isn't 'oh' its 'ow'. Its made more prominent by his accent.
I always figured "Slawth" was a pronunciation based on the American drawl, contrasted by the British "Slowth" pronounciation. I would assume certain pastoral Brits would pronounce it "Slorth".
Sloths are cuter than Dogs
That’s why they are slowly, slowly, slowly.
Interesting pronunciation of Sloth.

Sloth animals in the jungle
This mean that plants worst enemy are vegans😂
Yeah they eatin our planet 😂
I mean its true. Humans used to eat mainly plants. In prehistoric times when humans were mainly still just tribes, hunting and eating meat was a rarity which happened only a few times a month at most. Foraging was the primary food source, people ate mostly plants. And later on when farms developed, this become even more common as plant based food was abundant. People started to make grains, breads etc
I hope they, politics don t destroy this habitat to put mines or to have wood
Sloth are very cute however sloth moths are a big reason why you shouldn't pet them unless your ok with something else crawling on you
They are called Faultier in German which translates lazy animal.
God made the plants & the sloth.. He made EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN HIS TIME .. what a creative God, we serve

Slowths
How do we know that sloths don’t spend their lives in suffering because they can’t get rid of the moths because they’re too slow?

It's hard to believe that supposedly intelligent people believe one man's THEORY and call it "science"!
Meaning exactly what friend?
Amazing creation of Allah(Swt). Subhan Allah ❤
I feel very sorry for anyone that believes all the plants and animals evolved from nothing at all!!! It makes no sense! It takes much less faith to believe in an almighty God who created the universe!
No it's worse. They evolved from what ever existed before, because Science presumes the Universe is ex nihilo - it has always existed. But does Science now posit the Big Bang. Which exploded out of a Singularity, with no extent or duration - so out of Nothing. And one of the arguments for the existence of God is that if God exists the Universe would have arose out of Nothing. So when I was a child, the Big Bang Theorists were considered Scientific heretics. Even Stephen Hawking knew this. It's why he posited multi verses, but the problem is there is NO evidence that there was anything before the Big Bang. It's all speculation, leaving Hawking to say, we just don't know enough. You cannot prove the existence of God either, as no system of logic is based on anything beyond faith. Induction is based on probability and deduction is based on aprior first pricinples that cannot be proven, as there is no metalogic to prove them by. (Not even Russellian Logic). It's still all based on a=a. I dare you to prove a = a. (Yes, I did get a degree in Philosophy, Theology, and Anthropology (Physical and Cultural).
