So Owls have many super powers. Most of them can: 1. Rotate their heads 270 degrees 2. Fly quietly 3. Hear 10 times better than humans 4. Travel upto 70 miles, above waters. (which means non-stop flight) 5. See perfectly with night vision and Binoculars-type nature of their eyes Owls are now my new favourite animal. 🦉 Other powers that may not be counted as "super" include: 1. They're beautiful 2. Their sound is unique and cute 3. A group of owls is called a 'Parliament' 😄

Ye my girlfriends dog detected testicular cancer in me too. This is very very real. He would smell my crotch all the time and then Wimper a little. Than I started experiencing pain like 3 days later went to the doctor and boom diagnosed with testicular cancer

I live in the PNW and often see Owls hunting. I ride my bike on lots of trails and am always so happy when I see an Owl. I’ve had them fly next to me while I was riding, seen them hunt and eat! A few months ago I watched for 20 minutes as this squirrel gave a younger Owl fits trying to catch him. It was funny seeing such an amazing hunter made to look silly by this squirrel. Pretty much all birds of prey are simply amazing to me.

One time in the middle of the night, I went out to take out the trash, as I walked out the door and the motion light turned on, there was an owl 15 ft from my door in the yard. We both froze for a minute, the owl toughened up its feathers and appeared the size of a large trash can. It was a spiritual experience, I could feel that the owl was on a higher level of consciousness. I backed into the door and took out the trash in the morning, I was not gonna test that glorious beast.
I am putting all my will and energy into becoming a barred owl ( or is it barn own?), in my next life. Perfect species to come back as. Everything has its draw backs but this bird has the best tricks.

The owl had an advantage in this video, it got more height before take-off than the other two birds. Why not test all the birds with the same take-off height?
The owls feather structure is largely responsible for its silent flight, each feather has a feathered end, it is not hard and smooth like other birds. I am surprised they did not mention this. This is why the owls flight is silent.
We like drama and interpreting things around us to our mood and convenience, but in the case of the dog smelling cancer, even though dogs have been trained to smell cancerous cells and they do, but to say that he was sad and dooesn't want to walk because of the lady's cancer, that's a stretch. Dogs, if trained, can detect cancerous cells but they can never know the ill effect of cancer and that it causes death. As we speak there are human beings in some communities around the world who don't know what cancer is and that it causes death specially ones that affect internal organs.
Even when flapping their wings owls dont make a sound so the explanation for that is nòt gliding....there is more to it. I personally think its the rotating movement....

They should show the amazing memories of chimpanzees compared to humans. Something that I just found out recently. Chimps memories are so SO much better than ours. Having the human go up against a chimp doing the memory game with the cards. Identifying the matching cards with each other. Or showing all the cards just for a few seconds and then flipping them back over and seeing how many matches you can remember. We got beaten rather soundly.
