Always wondered about this thing. I’d put in the same category as those super expensive electronic kettles that boil water; it’s for people with some extra money to burn. But I’d gladly accept as a gift from a rich friend lol
I use a battery powered $15 pepper grinder. It’s adjustable and when you hit the button a light turns on so you can see how much you put. I got on Amazon a few years back with zero issues.. they also have rechargeable grinders for around $30
Just get a manual Porlex coffee grinder; it’s easier, much faster and much cheaper. The electric “grinder” doesn’t grind the coffee/spices; it cuts them which is different. Not necessarily better or worse, just different.

It would make a very nice gift but to buy for myself, idk if I could do it. They are very nice though

I like this one but I don't think I would have bought it on my own. Way too much money

I probably would have if this wasn't a gift. I certainly appreciate the comment and hopefully others that want a much affordable option sees it!
At $200/shot.. I’ll probably pass on that one… the last time I spent that money on a BBQ gadget I got a Signals and a Themapen.
You aren't wrong! It's like I mentioned in the video, great gift but I would not buy one for myself.
What size of burr setup does it have? I can't seem to find any information on it. Is it stainless steel?
I don't know the size but its a conical burr. If I had to take a guess I'd say about 1.5" wide.
$200 for a grinder? It better double as a flesh light and do my dishes.
Man you are telling me. As I mentioned in the video, had it not been a gift, I don't think I would have one.
@@ElSenorBbq nice little gadget though, should probably last a lifetime.
