Hi Andy, i have been waiting for this video for a while, apart from some foreign videos there is next to nothing about this rifle on the Interweb, was pleased you liked this rifle,i bought a .22 one about 6 weeks ago & quite honestly think it is a superb bit of kit,i was a bit sceptical at first, but i wanted something a bit different,to clarify,i also have an Air Arms S400 & BSA Ultra SE, i didn't want a Bullpup!!,so 6 weeks on this rifle is amazing, every bit as good as the S400,like you am unsure of the shot count, last session i had lost count after 180,overall is a superb bench rest Rifle, gets my thumbs up every time i use it.
I did the now ‘normal’ thing to do and look at TH-cam reviews on things before you buy them however, certainly the best thing I did in relation to researching this gun. Checked out your review along with another honest (non bitter, pretentious or arrogant) reviewers opinion of the M30 and to be honest it’s (obviously in my opinion) better to hold, shoot and to look at aesthetically than my pals BSA Ultra, S410 TDR and Theoben Rapid 7. Also can do better at the range than said guns can do too. Subscribed 👍🏼
Good review. What I would have really enjoyed was some kind of 'schematic" or "exploded drawing" to show the mechanism for getting the air from the air-chamber to the barrel. I can't imagine how it's formed at the rear, to allow the barrel to pass through it. But an interesting piece none the less
Impressive rifle,hi Andy great design I like the rifle but can't help wondering if it feels front heavy at all.maybe if they made the air cylinder a touch shorter and left out the end space i think it would be a great hunting rifle.very inovative design.love watching your reviews, keep em coming.ps where's the review on the Artemis M16 with the cylinder not bottle?atb Dave
Barrel could be a bit shorter. Would like a Picatinny/Weaver railed mounting system. A much longer bolt handle and larger bolt knob would be a real improvement too. Otherwise it looks great.
Interesting rifle thanks for the review Andy 👍 Do you know if this will be available in a Carbine format? I feel it will be fine for usual bench rested or casual work but for hunting or pest control it would probably be a tad too long for barn work or confined shooting.
A £600 rifle is now regarded as "budget"? Errrrrrm.... Certainly not in my book it isn't, to me anything under £3-400 bundled with scope is "budget" and even then I'd probably look at spending 50-100% the value of the rifle on an optics system and bipod.
Halo...greeting from Indonesia...Could you please advise the price of this gun in your Country ? in Indonesia, this is not existed, but a handmade (imitation) , local made off course, using Lothar Walther barrel OD 13, it cost about USD 750,- thank you...
I need one of these to build kind of a sniper rifle, the problem is that in my Country airguns are like 3 times more expensive, so if someone has a used and cheap one, and want to sell, please tell me :) best regards from Norway.
@@adl1014 It depends on the condition of the rifle, and how old it is, things like that, and one more thing, in Norway we can have as much power as we want on Airguns Whitout any problems, so i dont want sub 12 fpe.. 4.5mm is free to buy for all over 18 years, but in 5.5mm we have now have new rules here, we now have to register the Airguns over 4.5mm, but its still as much power as we want, i dont know what im going for, does it realy matter if i choose a 4.5mm over a 5.5mm now when we have so much heavyer pellets to play with, im going for targets up to 500 meters. I own rifles up to 6.35mm from before, but its no one of them i realy like when it comes to beauty, but this Artemis M30 is right in the spot where i want a rifle, looks nice, and i think it shoots well also? For the price. Best regards from Norway.
@@Tamlin73 I have a completely new sealed one. Not opened it yet , only for a few days it’s been here . Obviously you can make adjustments in the rifle with a screw driver to allow it for higher energy (in this case 12 fpe +) takes little physical work and Giles video on TH-cam does it himself. However , 500 metres is a lot for any air rifle really , can’t help but think you’re better off with a proper rifle itself even a little 22lr. Not sure the gun laws over in Norway
@@adl1014 i have a Hatsan At-44 single shot in 6.35mm that one i shall use for long range :) i use to own a Fx rifle also, but it was discontuned and i could not build it the way i wanted it, it was in 5.5mm i want a Ataros m24 ? I never remember the name haha, but its a copy of the real M24 sniper rifle. Its so much to choose from now days, but im no millionair :) what donyou want for your Artemis M30? And is it a 4.5mm or a 5.5mm? An 4.5mm will go thru the customs without any papers or delay.
@@Tamlin73 I have a .177 (4.5mm) , it’s a bit of a funny story as I very much wanted the Remington Vought , I finally found a store it wasn’t out of stock and managed to buy it , then they came back an hour later saying it was out of stock and instead I transferred my money to the Artemis m30b instead , with a 100 pound discount as it originally sells for 600 when I paid 500. The Remington vought wouldn’t be in the Uk until late July . Talking about the M24 , check out the vought , I prefer it in Woden stock but they do a black synthetic too . I fell in love with the look of it and am slightly regretting not waiting out . Check it out as it is similar in looks to the M24 . As for the Artemis I suppose As I’ve brought it recently a nice profit margin would do

Hi Andy, Excellent review, many thanks
Very nice review, all the information you need presented in a nice and calm manner. Getting tired of US yahooo and woohooo reviews....

Recently bought one in 177 for pest control it's amazing value for money as I hate bullpups and cant stand the big gas tanks on the new guns
About how many shots you getting per fill in .177?
Ll. Jones 140 or so many more the regulator is good I have a air arms s410 now but I love the way the gun looks it’s a real beaut
I love your reviews! Best out there!
Looks inspired from the m40-66. Vietnam era sniper rifle.
Exelent video as allways and a very beautiful rifle. Keep the videos comming my friend. Regards Rune
Such a nice slick looking rifle that is
Best review i’ve seen in a long time, got yourself a new subsciber sir! Well deserved
Thats one beautiful rifle. Nice review.
An interesting review Andy, Thank you.
Any alternatives for this kind of traditional looking rifle-like airgun ? I don't mind if its cheaper or more expensive...
I believe the Diana k98 pcp is actually just this rifle with a smaller air tank and different bodywork.
Remington vought , has a smaller ( less obvious cylinder around the barrel too
I'm impressed!
Excellent review. Well done
Well that is a good looking PCP rifle. I know it is not made for lowly work, but is there a version with iron sights?
It looks like it was 'designed' in the US in the late 60s or early 70s. (Observation not criticism! :) )

Hi love your videos can you pls review the SNOW PEAK M25 PCP 5.5MM AIR RIFLE
Superb review of the M30, how does it stand up to the even more budget-friendly SMK Rabbit Destroyer.....? Barry.
Qual seria a melhor bomba pra fazer o carregamento dela amigo?

Great review 👍
Andy if possible can you review the M40 if possible as I am interested in one
