You know, the evolution to chat spamming "Eat the paper" is really fascinating. It started as one person, seemingly at random, telling them to eat the sand on the exit of the skip button room, and it picked up, for again, no comprehensive reason. But then it ended, and the game restarted. Devastating, right? Wrong. A miracle happened, and the random event of papers being everywhere on the floor is revealed, giving new life to this movement, until the two brothers finally notice it. Truly beautiful.
I want an rerelease of an uncensored version where we get all the uncut lines of The Narrator cussing. That’d be something to behold

That's not a very good estimation. You need to account for acceleration decreasing as velocity increases, which is why terminal velocity is a thing. You don't accelerate and then suddenly stop.

You know what's weird? Playing The Beginners Guide and then watching this video. And on the complete random chance that Davey reads this comment, I want you to know that The Beginners Guide has had such an influence on me. It's a beautiful game that's helped me get through my game design courses. I have a BFA in Game Design and Development, and The Beginners Guide helped me get it.
I just want to point out that the inferno bucket story is actually true lmao, a town had the well's bucket stolen from them after a war, and for a while the town fought many people just to get the bucket back.

Not gonna lie the skip ending is probably my favorite ending in the entire game purely because I am obsessed with the idea of time and the time after the grass where there's the horrible evil sounds coming up from the dark.
Gordon Freeman has his crowbar. Cloud has his buster sword. Stanley has his bucket.
At about 40 minutes in, it really starts to become obvious that these two are _definitely_ brothers.

If someone didnt want their game assets in the new Stanley Parable, I don't know what is wrong with them. Like genuinely, THE Stanley Parable wants to use your game in a gag, who in the world would ever refuse that amazing offer. Doesnt matter what they will say about the game, its a great honor to be insulted by The Stabley Parable.

I haven't seen enough of his actual streams to know what the deal with the potatoes is, but I have honestly just taken a freshly baked potato from the oven and eaten it straight with no butter, salt or other toppings and loved it. I do not think that is the optimal way to eat a potato but it is still very good.

This feels almost like the opposite of Bennett Foddy commentating on a "getting over it" speedrun. There you realise that they way he writes his narrations and the way he thinks normally are one and the same, here Davey is pretty much just Doug with a scarf.
I can imagine a world where the Wreden brothers are a super famous game-development duo akin to the coen brothers or the wachowski sisters
