- Fans react to England winning the Women's EURO 2022: It's coming home! England fans up and down the country react to Lionesses Euro 2022 win. England's heroic Lionesses were congratulated by the Queen and then partied late into the night - including wild dancing at Wembley, on the team coach and even in the car park outside their hotel - after making history and beating Germany 2-1 at the Euro 2022 final with more celebrations with fans due today.

I don’t understand why some people in these comments are being so shady. The lionesses played EXCELLENT through the tournament they showed determination and strength to give our nation hope. And to those who say they time waste, that’s the game of football is a tactical game. It happens in the mens game as well and it does not bare as much weight as some people are making it out to be. But enough said about the haters, CMON ENGLAND!!
Looks like a quiet gathering, few hundred people on a Sunday afternoon. Women's sport will always be an inferior version to the men's, so why waste time and money into this tripe? We should use that money and pour it into grassroots boys sport.
This makes me so happy. What a year for the pride of Lionesses.
Hopefully we can do it again in 4 or so years ❤

Firstly, it was a clear handball by Williamson in the first half and the VAR supposedly saw nothing, very dubious. Secondly, Germany could not play with the strongest lineup, is unfortunate, but we would have won with it for sure. And lastly, England played dirty and wasted a lot of time.
