I’m in the US and I have a couple of questions. Why do you call it the Mexican Wave? I had never heard that before. That wave actually started in baseball games in the US back in the 70’s, maybe even before. And two, how come you guys banned it? Is it because of people throwing beer and objects? I can see that not being much fun
@@lgarcia67 Apparently it was dubbed the Mexican Wave as it was first seen around the world during the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico. Cricket Australia has banned it because of crowd behaviour, stating "while the wave itself is harmless, unfortunately the associated throwing of objects is not". I'm not sure whether the UK has banned it, but having cups of beer or urine thrown over you is bound to make you in favour of a ban. As always, it's the minority spoiling it for everyone else.

Thought the girls got dragged to far into the German’s game plan, than playing possession and space. Thought it might be our undoing, but they did… they f’ing did it! So happy for Jill Scott. Such a Talisman for the team💪🏻 The ladies team were showing how to play with pride, when that last prima donna men’s squad (the so called golden generation) were to busy bickering amount themselves to give a s***. The girls deserved this so much. They put the pain of last year to bed, and gave us all so pride back. Been a massive advocate for the women’s game. There’s something very honest about it. And as for entertainment… Can you get more entertaining than what they’ve given us in this tournament? Loved every minute!💪🏻🏴🏃🏻♀️
This is redemption for the mens team losing to Italy last year, I hate to say it but I think the US Women’s National Team has a challenger for the World Cup next year congrats on winning the Women’s Euros
WHAT A GAME! And to have Kelly get the winner! #City ... Thank you for promoting the WSL. Sometimes I feel like I'm a bigger WSL fan living here in Canada than you lot that can go every weekend 😏
Honestly, I haven’t been to enough WSL games but I have no excuse anymore as next season I’m living 15 minutes away from Man City’s ground! I’m going to buy a season ticket and get there whenever I can, love Chloe Kelly and all the city girls in the England team. Love them all and can’t wait to watch them playing domestically.
Well done to our amazing lionesses. The nation is proud of you! Next challenge - fair pay for women's England players. Some of the money that goes to pay the enormous weekly salaries for the premier league (e.g.Salah - £400,000 a week) need to go to the women as recompense for the 50 year ban imposed on them!
Could you IMAGINE if they also went on to win the World Cup? I mean I wouldn't care if they didn't even qualify, they finally brought home a title, and for that they will forever be icons and national treasures, never to be lost to the sands of time - but just think about how incredible it would be...
Germany tried to kick us off the park 1st half and when we stood up to them and even laughed back in their faces, they didn't really have another plan. They just thought they could turn up and bully us out of the game. Football won.

No doubt about the current England Lionesses football team, they are superior and more inventive than any previous team that have represented England at football and they are a family friendly team and the fans even mix with the fans of the opposition team. Great sporting entertainers. Long may they rule in peace and fun.

Thought the girls got dragged to far into the German’s game plan, than playing possession and space. Thought it might be our undoing, but they did… they f’ing did it!
So happy for Jill Scott. Such a
Talisman for the team💪🏻
The ladies team were showing how to play with pride, when that last prima donna men’s squad (the so called golden generation) were to busy bickering amount themselves to give a s***.
The girls deserved this so much.
They put the pain of last year to bed, and gave us all so pride back.
Been a massive advocate for the women’s game. There’s something very honest about it.
And as for entertainment…
Can you get more entertaining than what they’ve given us in this tournament?
Loved every minute!💪🏻🏴🏃🏻♀️
What's about the penalty for Germany ? You don't talk about this....you have forgotten ?
@@kipo58 What penalty?
@@ep1phany62 you didn't see it ? First half....handball. Are you kidding me, Pommy ?
@@kipo58 I leave those things to the professional officials who are refereeing the game, because they know more than me (and probably you).
@@kipo58 The German’s handled the ball in the area too.
_When polarization meets unification_
I think it's safe to say, unification won on this day!
Ah, you were just a few blocks along from where I was sat, watching this brought back all the emotions, what a day.
What a day indeed, never wanted it to end, thank you for watching Issy.
FOOTBALL IS COMING HOME 🏴
Well done to the ENGLAND GIRL'S 🏴🏆
Hi Nieve, love the coverage and the reporting style.
Congratulations to The Lionesses, they’ve inspired a generation. 👍🏻🏴❤️🏆
Historic what a time! Football 4 all
As always fantastic post 👍
Best final in football history ever.! Because Wembley was full of kids! They will never forget this great emotions. Congrets to the Lionesses!!!
This is redemption for the mens team losing to Italy last year, I hate to say it but I think the US Women’s National Team has a challenger for the World Cup next year congrats on winning the Women’s Euros
it really isn't lol
WHAT A GAME! And to have Kelly get the winner! #City ... Thank you for promoting the WSL. Sometimes I feel like I'm a bigger WSL fan living here in Canada than you lot that can go every weekend 😏
Honestly, I haven’t been to enough WSL games but I have no excuse anymore as next season I’m living 15 minutes away from Man City’s ground! I’m going to buy a season ticket and get there whenever I can, love Chloe Kelly and all the city girls in the England team. Love them all and can’t wait to watch them playing domestically.
@@stuntpeggnieve That's awesome! Would love to see a Darby vlog from you 👍
Well done to our amazing lionesses. The nation is proud of you! Next challenge - fair pay for women's England players. Some of the money that goes to pay the enormous weekly salaries for the premier league (e.g.Salah - £400,000 a week) need to go to the women as recompense for the 50 year ban imposed on them!
Great reaction as usual
You actually actually sound like a sports commentator, should become one
I’d absolutely love to, that’s a really kind comment Sean thank you.
A glorius day!
Lovely post -- comment on the Mexican wave just won you a subscriber.
Haha!! Thank you very much, I respect this a lot 🤣
Your face at the beginning says it all. I felt the same.
Most emotional moment in my footballing life, a beautiful moment wasn’t it
@@stuntpeggnieve Amazing. It really was.
And the Germans (some of them) are having the cheek to say we cheated to win! I don't think so.
What a historical Moment for English Women's Football, means so much to me!
1:36 I Love your reaction
Btw.... Well done #lionesses 🏴🏆
Stuntpegg
Love your video, it’s awesome what a result.
Excellent awesome win, the Lionesses showing how it’s done.
Still buzzing from it.
Highest attendance for a Euro Final in both women and men game.
Me too Andy, me too. Wish I could go back! Thank you very much
Still sends chills down my spine. What a tournament & great day for womans football
Your commentary and content are excellent keep it up
The look of joy and pride on your face is priceless. Keep up the unique and enjoyable vlogs.
I was in tears of joy

It’s coming home!!! 🦁🦁🦁
congratulations ladies
Looks like you were trying not to cry during the trophy presentation
AWESOME VIDEO WITH SUCH GREAT EMOTION!!
sorry, have i missed something. what was going on with the mexican wave thing??
Sunday’s final was one of the best days of my life.
Great video. You should be proud of yourself.
Thank you, I really do appreciate that.
I've been looking for this but couldn't remember the channel name and then it comes up in my recommended videos , strange
I 100% agree with your Earps comment.
Especially with Germany taking that more direct approach, the amount of times she actually prevented chances by running off her line at the right moment was just brilliant. Absolutely love her.
No doubt about the current England Lionesses football team, they are superior and more inventive than any previous team that have represented England at football and they are a family friendly team and the fans even mix with the fans of the opposition team. Great sporting entertainers. Long may they rule in peace and fun.
You should be out there on the pitch playing lady, zero body fat, four years time, i see the pride in your eyes stuntpegg brings the cup home again.
All aboard the England Women’s bandwagon!
Fair play to the ladies, though. Hopefully, this is a turning point for the women’s game; that in fifty years we look back and say: Yes, this was the game that made women’s football.
amazing atmosphere
Now they need to go get a star on their shirt. You got this, Ladies.
Its funny how the ladies know the ball in the net WINS GAMES not how much possession you have! Dozy Southgate!
Englands game against the usa sold out in under 24 hours. And there game against Luxembourg in stoke has sold 20000 tickets already. Incredible
England play austria in vienna 3 days before the luxembourg match. if the gap had been 4 or 5 days, i would have gone to vienna :)
@@richard6440 Fair play. I would maybe go to a game in a finals tournament in europe. Australia is a bit far lol. Might go to the Luxembourg game. Not sure. We will get double figures you would imagine. Saw the girls in 2011 against Slovenia. We won 4.0
@@chrismonks592 I bought tickets to the Luxembourg game as soon as they were available. Unfortunately , i bought those ' before ' thinking about going to vienna as well ( i have a neighbour who is german , who was willing to go as well ) . The usa game sold out in 24 hours. Just the 24 hours when i was not on the pc :) oh well , tv , sofa , bag of popcorn will have to do. Probably end up with 3 or 4 friends coming round to watch and game , and eat my food , grrrr :)
Best day ever. Still brings a tear to my eyes. And totally with you on 🤬Mexican waves!
I like how the Women's team fans and the Men's team fans are opposites in every way imaginable
Just watching a video of you singing to the vale fans we will never play you again . See you next Saturday pal 👍😂
The men were asked for 56 years to bring it home, the LADIES said "oh for fksake! I WILL!"🏴🏴🏴🙃😄🏆🎉⚽️
Will be talked about for years I love football
We see you over the pond, Home girl. Keep on Keepin' on.
Wow, thank you!! ❤️
@@stuntpeggnieve USA v England in September!

@@richard6440 You're correct, I had Sept. stuck in my head.
Reminds me of watching my USWNT win two world cups in a back to back tournaments
Nice one! I've only been subbed to your channel for a couple of weeks so was delighted to see you were vlogging at the Euros final. After tonight's game I thought I'd re-live some of the memories and that's how I found it 😁
How nice for you to see live.
Lets talk about Tooney's goal
Just superb, didn’t get a proper look of it in the stadium from my side but I watched back all the highlights when I got home and my gosh the composure…and the ball from Rochdale Pirlo Keira Walsh!!
Lets talk about Tooney's goal....... i had nipped in to the kitchen , to get 2 cornettos. *other ice creams are available :) and was rushing back in , just as the pass was sent through. i reached the sofa as toone chipped it. i'm leaning forward, wife is screaming with her arms in the air , cornettos go flying, i'm headfirst over the sofa. by the time we get entangled and lookm around , our blenheim spaniel is sitting there smiling, face covered in ice cream :) but did we remember the goal? of course we did:) Tooney owes me a cornetto :)))
It finally came home 😭😭😭😭😭❤❤❤
