Mike, you are welcome but no, is the other way around, THANK YOU for posting the videos, you are an inspiration to me and many others. Please keep on posting!
Nothing more fun then top water in my opinion Bartlett is great for numbers keep up the content it's nice to see especially since I have not been able to get out much.
I have to agree with you there. I gotta take advantage of it while it lasts. I'll keep posting as long as the fish keep biting. I've got some good stuff coming up. Hope you can get out soon. Thank you!
Bartlett is an overlooked lake IMO; I fish cats there. The water level is dropping like a stone though based on my observations over the last 10 days. I was interested to see in your following video how much water there is in Horseshoe, which, back in the day, was drained to keep Bartlett topped up. Good video; thx.
Thank you! Horseshoe was over 80% full the first time I went earlier this year. It was 62% full on my most recent trip. I'm surprised they haven't released more water into Bartlett this year.
Hey Mike, Thanks for taking us on your adventures. FUN TIMES! I really enjoy seeing the different lakes you fish. I live and kayak fish in Northern Arizona and was thinking about driving down south to fish your lakes. I've fished Canyon lake and Alamo in late October (when it's not so hot) .I'm watching you catch a lot of fish. My question is; in the summer time, are you fishing mornings or evenings only? Do the fish still bite when it's the hottest part of the day, like 12 noon to 4pm?
Hey, thank you and you're very welcome! I typically fish in the mornings. I launch about 30 minutes before sunrise. How long I fish depends on how good the bite is and the weather (mostly wind). In my experience, the bass will bite all day, in fact, sometimes the afternoons are better than the morning.
@@flipflopfishingAZ Thanks for your help, I will drive down and deal with the heat. hopefully I will get some fish in the yak, and get a full day of fishing in.
Mike, I really like your Kayak setup. The stealth it provides you and the access to water larger boats don't get to makes it even better. I don't know if this is fact or fiction but the Flathead catfish may play a huge part in controlling the size and number of the bass in Bartlet.
@@bobseneff6115 Thank you! The kayak is a lot of fun. I've read that the Bartlett bass size was some genetic thing. Seems odd that the fish aren't very big. There are some giants flatheads for sure though.

Dude! You made my day. Seriously, thank YOU!
I second that.

@@yakfishaz6378 Yvw! Have fun, catch a ton of fish, and be safe. This heat is no joke.
Keep up the great content!
@@TheRt2bear Thanks! I will as long as the fish keep cooperating.
