Look at how filthy the oil and fuel cans are. How can they expect the engine to run for a long time? Fairly typical. Installed by the British, barely maintained by the natives. But the paint is pretty!
The nameplate said "Shahi Engg Works", so it was creditably "native" and ran nicely to the designers' credit. But I must admit that I was very uncomfortable to see kids basically playing on it: I'm all for inducting them into a trade at an early age but even with a compression release valve open there's /way/ too much to go wrong.
