Hahaha
😂😂😂 you’re right
You’re funny
Luv the Kirovet K 700. Can’t beat that old mechanical diesel sound with turbo awesome
I liked several of these and just have to say you have to be on or near a locomotive when it starts to fully appreciate it starting and running on low idle. The absolute shear power of these engines is amazing.
we in Russia call this tractor "whistle"

I love the Ka-26. Stacked rotors run by pod-mounted radials. It looks like it belongs in a diesel-punk story! That and radials are just mechanical music.
Love the smell of diesel exhaust on a cold morning.
Same here man
Same here who doesn't
Patrick Bronson greta thunberg😂😂😂😂
yeah😄

I need more Kirovet engine noises in my life. By far the most glorious sound ive ever heard. Also, the IS3 engine start truly brought tears to my eyes. Soviet engineering is truly incredible.
Bergen Nicholson **cough cough** CHERNOBYL
@@zanefitch9343 Chernobyl was the result of a test gone wrong. The system warned the crew, but the director ignored it and pushed the crew onward with the test. We still use that reactor design to this day.
Have you seen the isu-152 startup video that was on TH-cam for a while, that one gave me goosebumps :)
Кировцы делают в моём городе. Kirovets made in my city.
Indeed , old soviet Diesel engines are incredible
that kirovet turbo.......OMG it was music to my ears
Sounds like Bridge on the River Kwai theme
best comment ive seen all week,,,its still early, but thats a perfect comment. congratulations.
yes I was
Sounded like an old Alco RSD-3.
@@4gauge10 I concur....
I have no idea.
Love the smoke ring on the Ka-26! ;-)
I loved that Cockshutt 40 just givin' 'er lungs out to turn that Rumley! Such beautiful 6 cyliinder Buda smoothness until the Rumley started to turn. Then you could hear every cycle of the Rumley in the Cockshutt.
When your mate asks if you fancy a trip in his helicopter, thanks but no thanks.
Helicopters don’t fly. They just shake and the ground rejects them!
Best cold start video on TH-cam
Love it when the Duvant-Vos belches lotsa smoke & fire.
7:50 I love those, like something else. One MASSIVE piston and a giant flywheel. Awesome.
It's not though
I worked in some extremely cold conditions in northern Canada … so cold the diesel turned to jelly …..had to use a tiger torch on the fuel tank … close off the underbelly with shrouds ..to free up the fuel lines … tiger torch the oil pan for a few minutes……. Either in the air cleaner…. Had to get it started with very little battery life ……. Survival depended on it ……. Some weeks it was a Daily routine …. Got good at it , didn’t blow up any motors ….. mind you this was 40 years ago…. It was an interesting time to say the least ..!
3:11 Blowing O's
never knew that those old display Tanks and Choppers were still able to be started
In Russia there is no such thing as a display tank. They are all battle ready at all times. Crew in the barracks eating chocolate bars doped with methamphetamine. Ready to defend the motherland with their lives.
Got a framall(US)from the 40’s the ol man left me. And boy it runs like a top from cold start to finish.
P.S our cold starts I. The south are maybe 30 degrees
if you mean the chopper from just after 3 mins .. i guess they were moving it to cut the grass
@@CriticoolHit now that museum relics are showing up on the battlefield, it turns out you were right 😂
@@CriticoolHit hahaha 😂 😂
That scania engine started pretty clean
Its a scania...what did you expect
Power of Europe!
Is this a joke?
@@JB-ew6ze If you're laughing then I guess it is...for the rest of us watching..well..it's just interesting
I love these vids but I believe that truck was an old GMC Crackerbox
As expected from a Scania engine. Nothing but top quality and endurance.
I think that cab over Detroit had some minor exhaust leaks
Duct tape should do the trick
The turbo on that second one 😍
These clips always make me grin :D
Звук турбины на кировце кайф)
04:05- Love that old Russian Helicopter! 2 carbureted radial petrol engines! Smoke like muvahz when started cold! And the old Bird is 100% airworthy to boot!!
I think in the full video he takes off and hovers, almost crashes, then lands safely.
Ill pass on a ride on the chopper
Helicopter lots of smoke running turn on heater warm inside monster tractors also awesome keep up the good work friend bless you
those Kirovets are fucking awesome, love them!
I learned two things today….
That ASMR over big engines running is a thing…
And that I have it too
That red cab over, so many exhaust leaks 😂
Might need some of that “Cosby in a can” 🤔😁
Jeremy Smith I’m gonna guess you watch zip ties😜
Fuckin mint!!! 👌🏻
Somebody been watching Zip Ties. 👌
Господи!!! Этот божественный свист к-700 у меня аж сердце кольнуло!
единственный исправный на всё видео.
этот свист В8... не его звук увы :(
Finished with the beginning of Alone by Alan Walker, nice touch 😎
2:16 listen to that turbo man!

V12
6:30 runaway averted. Good job men!
wouldve been the craziest runaway video on youtube
That IS3 russian tank cold start mint👌👌👌
Great video. Need another one.
this diesel locomotive caught me offguard hahaha sounds like someones running in an 4O's cartoon :D
10s of thousands of diesels cold starting every day around the world, and California is worried about 2 strokes 😆🤣
First one really gives SnowRunner Vibes
old but gold ! Super Teil
the tank one is the best ;)
Roland Lawrence Russian bias with there IS series
was a monument in Donetsk. Was switched on for the Donbass-Ukraine's war
@@flydream2 да это ИС3 с монумента в Донецке

The Kamov blew smoke rings. Nice.
K700 is awesome!
Ни хера себе: памятник завели😂
That twin rotter helli looks mint
When the pony motor is a whole tractor.
Haha. A 45 horsepower "starter."
10:50 SOMEONE LET THAT MAN OUT!!! DON'T YOU HEAR HIM KNOCKING LOL
I’m gonna need a whole video just of the kirovet driving around
Цука вспомнил автобазу зимой.когда в морозы камазы не глушили.
С далика.это было линия фронта)))
Man i can almost smell the diesel smoke from that locomotive starting up
Outstanding :-)
it's bad when you need one tractor to start another
God damn I love equipment
That k700 sounds awesome
That helicopter sounds bad ass 🤨
Ka-26 *POPPIN’ SMOKE*
Never expected to see a JS-3 here xD
The engine is reluctant to wake up, but nice efforts by all the drivers
Thanks for planete ! ! ! ! ! !
first start such a smoth start, not killing the motor. That is how it is done and then let it warm up
The little engines that could & did start
The starter on my Case 680CK would have been slinging solder if I cranked it that long.
I am very interested in learning why that locomotive (EMD I'm guessing???) Kept knocking even after it sounded like all the cylinders sounded like they were firing.
Know it's old when you need a pony motor. Lol
Old and BIG
How about some more details about those engines: size, HP etc.
Never did see the one that lured me in (Cat tractor)
That sir is called clickbait
1968 cat d9 dozer pure perfection when it started on the lorry delivering it wow. Check it out if you can find one
........not a mosquito for miles!
Fred Ivory heh, then that would make these good for the people, but bad for the world
Iron Dragon Biodiesel.
@@fredivory4304 ehm. But there's still combustion, which is the main problem?
well i started to park with a diesel in the garage....no cat came in since...:D. my petrol engined car was full of cat footprints.....:D:D:D
Arwsome video. Nice
I just like the picture for the video is a challenger that is in antartica, they are at mcmurdo station. I worked down there is the only reason ik that. It was cool operating heavy equipment down there
Give that Detroit some ether!
Каждое утро это слушаю
2:19 best sound to any mans ears
she's puking flames
I can hear Greta screaming in the Distance: How dare you!!!
Yeah I heard her also :)
great!
When your helicopter sounds like an old worn out farm truck.
the feels when a good old MWM started within 3/4 sec at most
Кировец 🔥👌👍настоящий советский монстр
I love the second one
Кировец (К701) запустился лучше чем нынешние иномарки собранные маркетологами............
This sound from the k700😍😍😍
I love 2 stroke Detroit's it sounds like hell is it's way lol
that IS3...bella machina
ХТЗ и двигло скния ну это сила!)
It doesn't even seem any of these motors actually started lol
Свист кировца не забываем!
the tank has its own smoke cover
Thank you
6:03 I need that 2-step
You made me laugh.
that EMD at 11:00 has some serious piston slap, that engine isn't gonna last much longer running like that.
Its a Russian diesel locomotive, I think it uses a copy of the 4-stroke Baldwin 608 diesels.
I think you will find it's more diesel knock than piston slapp.
They sound like we feel in the morning when you’re getting +30
I used to run my Toyota Hilux on vegetable oil. In the winter it always started fine, but if I let it idle after the last stage of glow plug heating then after some time it would start to fire rough and sound like miss firing. I always started driving and it fixed it. I think the heat produced from burning the diesel was less than the heat required to combust the diesel... Was my assumption. I don't know if it's correct
God have mercy on the starters
turbo😍
4:39 would be perfect if you have a neighbor you utterly hate. Aim the exhaust at their house and be sure to fire up the engine daily.
Oh yes. I owned only one car with turbodiesel engine. Maaan it used to be painful starting. But also great mileage and 3 months running without antifreeze - it wouldn`t overheat even in summer.
Damm that first one sounded mint, what engine do these trucks use?
