I prefer this generation F-150 over the current ones. Back in 2002, I bought a new SVT Lightning ⚡️⚡️ And it’s the BEST truck I ever owned. I still have it today.
I have my 03 XLT Supercrew. Fired it up for the 1st time since 2021. It broke the rear tires loose in the rain and fishtailed all over the road. It has ABS but no traction control which I have now become accostomed to.
That model year era was one of the best in my opinion. I just picked up a 2003 lariat ext. Cab with just 85k miles on it. Wish I could of got a 4wd but can't be picky when it comes to these trucks, they sell quick as soon as they are listed.
I have the same same same exact truck same exact everything. With a 5 inch lift, 35s. Comes up to 6 inche total, just under 95k miles. And I love it. Love my truck. Everywhere I go I get compliments all the time because it’s a 20 year old truck, BUT. Is just super clean spotless and well take care of, the interior leather no dry no cracks Valente shinny clean.
I just picked up a 2003 5.4 xlt 4x4 63k original owner miles , clean carfax with every service record since new. Not a scratch or ding, linex color coded to truck, super nice topper, moonroof 9500.00 i still cant believe it. Dealer did brakes , oil change, air filter the day i got it
I purchased my first car at 19 from SMC and it ended up being a lemon. I come from a Chevy family and my experience with the car almost pulled me away. If you’re young do your due diligence and ask a mechanic if they see the car your inquiring in the shop a lot. Also don’t switch up just because of one bad experience with a vehicle. My next 2 vehicles will be Chevy as well … they just won’t be used vehicles from a small lot. I will say, SMC has great customer service.
I saw a sharp one like someone's old man used to have on the way out of town. 10th gen were less crash protection but were lighter & IMO a little better overall until you got to like a 2011 or newer.
If that’s a 10 to 12 grand dollar vehicle I have 3 just like it with less miles and great condition that i will sell ya tonight for 9 grand each? Actually was gonna sell em for 6 grand each but i didn’t know they were worth that much? I’ll even deliver em to ya on a car hauler! Hit me up on here if ya interested!

I have a 2003 Ford F150 XLT SUPERCAB when I bought my truck it had 122.000 miles on it and now it got 136.000 miles on it I love it.

Masterpiece ever. Looks Much much better that garbage f150 2024. Great
Old but almost 300k is crazy. Your trying to sound smart by dragging words, “fx4 witch gives it 4x4”.
218 is nowhere close to 300 bud
@@bryce_2677 218 is still ridiculous for 12k
Very nice truck, the generation after these were such a pathetic downgrade.
