btw how you avoid being breadcrumbed is you work on your self concept and self esteem. period. step into your power daily and affirm. know that you're already loved, chosen by your partner, spoiled, treated like royalty, honored, respected, etc. this has worked waaaaay better than anything I've ever done.

I've deleted all dating apps after coming to the realization that many men aren't seeking something serious on there. Some don't even want to move it to in person. They're just bored and want to talk. A freaking 36 year old man (nine years my senior) still hits me up after matching on an app months ago. There's been talk of meeting up, mostly on his end. He never sets a time or date lol. He also send a friend request on Facebook. Such an odd duck. I'm sticking to in person only.
While watching your videos a couple years back, I came to an epiphany that “breadcrumbin ” is about someone contacting you after 11pm to say goodnight and at 7am to say good morning. So sweet and good for the ego, yet if they’re not organizing time with you, then you’re just a free fantasy/entertainment for them!

I didn’t know that term, I like it! I’m also aware men can do this with a few ladies at the one time. It seems like they want to reserve what they haven’t claimed. I’m sure Adrienne would have good scripts to handle this situation.
So ironic you said this!! Every time he ghosts me, and I'm waiting for him to come back...I know he's on his way back and planning to be around a few weeks, when I get the 7am text "Good morning beautiful!" with hearts n kisses. In the beginning, he did this every day for many months and I loved it. Now I sit n hope n wait for it to come back. Really pathetic!:(
@@amandamoe523 Why does he keep ghosting you? They all usually come back between 30-90 days! It's not pathetic if you do something really exciting with life during that time. It keeps your mind of him, plus you have something exciting to tell him when he comes back.
My thought exactly! I feel like he is giving me enough to think about him, but not actually giving me his energy or attention. Very frustrating and I’m not going to respond anymore. I deserve more , much more!

Hello Adrienne, this is so good video - exactly what I needed as last arguments are based on that I drop my T&Cs because he did drop his first. hahaha I know, But i felt so sad and unfair, almost betrayed holding to mines while he did not. So revenge and powerlessness took over. He spotted this straight away yet did not look into his. Let's see...Breadcrumbs is such a great expression, thank you. I wish for more tips for committed long-term relationships. I find it hard to keep to deadlines, actually i am very sad if i would have to, and co-dependent living makes it hard to just "walk away" and stay my ground.

Start when you are alone. When you can find how you feel and notice sensations, aim for the good feelings not just bad, and then stay in that energy of feeling and noticing triggers. A big one with triggers is boundaries versus preferences. Be sure to look that one up! 🥰🥰💋

interesting...I have been watching a million videos on attachment styles and now know my partner is a DA and I was a secure attachment but went to anxious attachment. In the meantime, men hit on me in these sites, because they see I am kind and loving, and so did a coworker knowing my partner had pushed me away. Today, I decided to be in my own energy, after nearly two months of pain. I love my partner, I am doing everything to so I am there, but I am putting feminine energy and time back into me...not easy during a lockdown to treat yourself well!

I only wear neutrals and black but i have a strong urge to wear pink now lol. It looks great on you & so does your hair. The highlights look so natural & soft. Great video. My guy just told me how he really felt. He’s been distant and just confessed that he feels i’m doing what i need to do for myself and feels he wants to be on the same level as me. He told me he wants me to be proud of the man i have. Here i thought he wasn’t appreciating me. But thats because i opened up my heart to him and told him how i truly felt about his hot and cold behavior. I actually understand him and feel so much better.

I'm being ghosted 6 weeks now after 1 yr dating. Last text was he said "I'll catchup with you another weekend" I texted "Ok" . This was after several weeks of him pulling back.. Looking back....he did not want talk on the phone, only texting during week and only had actual date 1x a month. He was such a gentleman and wined and dined me. I'm 40 and my issue is that there are so few of these quality men you describe in your mantra out there in their 40s, it is slim pickings!
Hi Adriene, I really enjoyed the video up until the end when you mentioned how one can attract men with personality disorders. Narcissism and borderline are 2 examples of very clinically challenging mental disorders which people really struggle with and it’s very segregating and offensive to box “these people”. What about the women who have mental disorders as well? Are they not deserving of attracting the best partner that suites them? I think it’s more appropriate to say that regardless if one attracts someone with a personality disorder or not, one deserves a partner willing to work on themselves. Everyone is human and deserves space to grow.

But I've been ghosted by someone I personally knew for 10 years or so. How can someone do that? It was out of the blue..
I know someone who had a nice 1st date, a week later was invited to his home for small dinner party, then another week later, at someone else's party. Only phone call was for 1st date, then a few texts in 3 weeks. Wasn't enough for her so she told him she was "taking her hat out of the ring until he knew what he wanted". She told him she had a nice time, but he wasn't consistent.
