About All In The Family:
One of the most acclaimed comedy series of all time, All in the Family with Archie Bunker as the irascible, highly opinionated, working-class family man who viewed the world on his terms and his terms only. When not arguing with his liberal son-in-law, "Meathead," Archie took refuge in his long-suffering wife, Edith, who tries her best to understand Archie's conservative ways and outdated beliefs.

Archie is a man taking care of his family…including Mike!
"ALL in the Family" had an ensemble cast. Awesome acting, topical comedy,Edith cracks me up every time
I really loved Edith, such a sweet and humble lady
She was my favorite.
Heeus ya beeh Ahchee!
Okay.
Mike always came off so arrogant, self-righteous and as a know-it-all. He never worked a job or contributed to the family household while Archie worked hard and supported the entire family and Mike showed no real gratitude or humility.
"That's right, Gloria. Your father was never much of a slobberer. He's more of a pecker!" Another line I die laughing at!
My Father set me up onced, He was telling me about the "pecking order" and said as an example "I peck you" to me, to which I replied "Yes, I always thought you were a pecker".
I thought that Archie was going to yell “will you stifle yourself”lol
Mike insults the man who feeds him
AITF great 👍👍😃😃😃 show growing up with in life
Fun Facts: $41 in 1972 = $308 in 2024. That's $12.83 per hour working 24 hours per week.
$150 = $1127 per week, $4508 per month and $54,096 per year.
I am also a fan of the inflation calculator. I use it all the time.
I like Mike's last statement. He always seemed to get in the last word.
The bureau of engraving and printing has printed up billions in notes - so why does the government need to tax us for ours? 🤔
@@petesevern7638 good question!
Damn. 41 dollars in 3 days work is illegal now-a-days. Thankfully I get 140 per shift.
I made 128 a shift 13 years ago , so
@@eddiekulp1241 Just making a point how much wages changed in the last 50 years.
If this episode came out in 1972 then $41 would be equivalent to about $300 in 2024
Laughing so hard!!! This cast was amazing, make shows like this again!!!🇨🇦👍❤️
Edith was the real star
Haha that facepalm after she says "He's more of a pecker"😂
He kind of is.
Archie never drinks his beer .
Mike is so right about taxes, even today.
Bout time he's right about something
Raising taxes on churches & businesses will mean we pay nothing? He's a complete nut.
@@jaymike3302 Mike only said religion. And religions pay $0 in taxes. Why do you think religions are so rich? Pastors owning private jets, mansions, thousand dollar suits, etc. If religions paid taxes, it would wipe out hunger in the world.
@@carolinebjerkelund767 You're even more nuts than Mike if you actually believe that.
@@jaymike3302 Try googling Religions tax exemptions. You are not educated
Edith stayed in shape for Archie by always running to the kitchen here and there.I'm sure Archie valued his wife.
Oh Archie valued her alright, get me a beer, get dinner on the table, stifle yourself! Lol
@@r.pres.4121 Edith is Archies queen and Archie is Edith king period.
0:52 - classic Edith
All In The Family
Married With Children
Two funniest shows ever ?
The bestest 👍
@ronmatthews2164, totally love both shows!
😅😅😅😅😅❤❤❤
Don’t forget about Seinfeld!
@@MetalGod999 Top 3 shows of all time : #1 All In The Family, #2 Married with Children, #3 Seinfeld, #4 The Kardashians (just kidding with the last one).
Archie reminds me off my Grandfather lol good war vet
So good to know Mike has the same issues close to heart in real life
No, they are both liberal idiots
41 dollars for 3 days work. If that's 8 hour shifts back then, then wow
Little goil😂😂
What's a liberal Democrat? Someone who wants everything I have, but my job.
DEMONRATS.
Oh, they wanna have your job, too. They just don't wanna DO it.
That’s One of yours over Cuckoos Nest Beliefs. And Right Wing Republican Conservatives want to Destroy Other Peoples Voting and Civil Rights. And cut Taxes for the Wealthy and Increase it on the Middle and Working Class.
I agree, a liberal then and a radical liberal now. Not a disappointment, to be expected in a fantasy land void of common sense.
What was the surprise dinner.
Fried Twinkie slices and beer
chicken
polk, roll, and grit.
he puts his bowling shoes on at home? you can only wear them in the bowling alley, lol btw edith's hair is a mess at the front.
Edith is a mess, period.
during the late 1990's when i worked fast food as a teenager in high school if i pushed myself working weekends i could earn roughly $300 every two weeks after taxes. the lower and middle class were better off then than now. prices on everything rising in recent years. the used vehicle market higher than ever and scarce to find something decent locally. a run down slumlord one bedroom bug infested apartment complex has risen in most areas to at least $800. everyone's in debt and no one owns anything. it's about to get worse with the all digital age coming soon. the days of being able to resell or pawn anything will be coming to an end if all electronics are tied to specific owners. no one is stepping back and looking at the bigger picture.
Still relevant in 2024
Never relevant,
@@Brandon-lw1wx Hmmm, you're either a troll or a bot. I guess you could be both!
@@mindriot91_96 Try neither
Made $150 a week….
Thumbs UP.
Michael, very sadly, has turned out in “ real life “ exactly like his part in this show. What a complete disappointment. Like some sort of prophecy we all watched years later.
Completely disagree.
@@mrlookin4mr And this is what makes our world go round and round, Mr.❤️
What do you mean "turned out" to be the way he was in the show ? He has always been an obnoxious Liberal.
Yeah, with a net worth of $200 million He's a real disappointment, alright. 🙄
