Thanks Brun! See, you find them one at a time while exploring wonderful, scenic locations! I just come across a bucket of rusty things at the local fire house! :)
hi Lynn/daryl ! doing well here. when I finished editing the bucket I realized it was almost half an hour long . . . so stay tuned for the conclusion when we see if our hero makes it to the bottom or the bucket! 😂
I can hardly wait for you to get into these old tools, I think toolmakers back in time were very smart and a head of their time. I imagine seeing you build a large glass enclosed wall pegboard and display these tools. Thanks for sharing.
I'm with you John. tools from that 100 year span of 1850 to 1950 were just as much about art as functionality. AND they were made with pride and quality - hence they're still around today.
Hi Matt, I think at some point, the bucket doubled as a magicians hat! I was expecting you to pull a rabbit out at any time. That's a lot of good stuff you got, too much choice for a favourite but I'll go with the spirit level, that will look great👍🏻
thanks Alex , a little research and I THINK the level is an antique Stanley Rule & Level Co. No.3 from late 1890's to 1920. the last patent date on it is 1896.
Great find! Looking forward to seeing some of them restored.
For sure! Definitely some diamonds in the ruff at the bottom!
Hi Matt& fam, really great bucket of tools, the antique saw set 1800’s is a wonderful find. Grease pump is very cool. Overall great tools, well done😀

Hi Matt. One thing I know is that they will all work just fine after you get ahold of them. 😊
thanks for the vote of confidence- I'll do my best!
Whoop! So happy to see your face!!
goes with the vintage bucket of rusty tools! 😆
@@MattsGarage1791 oh my gosh! Ha! You must have already been restored. 🫶
Great video, Matt! Lots of cool finds in that bucket! I really like that small pistol grip saw at the end. Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Looking forward to the adjustable keyhole saw video!
thanks, me too! what do you think. strip and repaint or just a deep cleaning?
@@MattsGarage1791 hmmmm… I really like the red handle…maybe repaint as original. The slots in the handle are really cool too
I do recall you're fond of red tools! if I repaint it will definitely look like the original.
@@MattsGarage1791 ha! Yes! Rosy the red shovel!
Grease Pump...that was cool!
sure is! just a bit of digging shows the Alemite grease guns were everywhere, including one model made for ww2 jeep willys.

Hi Matt! So many great tools in that bucket! Great find for seven dollars! Heading over to watch part two!
lol, I thought I'd get through the bucket in maybe 15 minutes...nope
Some awesome finds and what an amazing deal!
for sure! I'm happiest finding a box or bucket of rusty, tossed aside stuff hidden under a table somewhere! 👍
Great deal on that bucket!
every now and then I fall into a deal! of course I had to carry it around with me for a bit...not at all light. 💪
