I feel so damned old watching this it seems so long ago we were all younf and had heros in movies to make us feel safe, now the heros of the past are old and were the adults and were no heroes. Living and growing up in the 80s and 90s was a blessing for our spirits

Kowloon still has the feel of the 80s films that I fell in love with and is like stepping into a different time period. And the peak, which is where most of this is shot is largely the same. Hong Kong is truly a magical city and I'd encourage anyone to go.

BTW the Bush version is included on the 2007 OST Score reissue (Perseverance Records PRD-020). If only the Bush version gets the full (extended edit) treatment......

Bloodsport is one of those movies that just makes you feel better when you are down in life. Whenever I am feeling down I pop in this movie and things just get better. I adore this movie with all my heart and soul. It holds such a special place in my heart. It makes me sad we no longer have movies like this.
