    Good presentation.
I am a senior registrar in General Surgery in my country under the auspices of the West African College of Surgeons.
I am interested in obtaining CCT in General Surgery in the UK.
I have passed MRCS part A.
I have looked at the person specification intensely and I have realised that my chances would reduce the longer I stay in my country.
What is the quickest way to come to the UK after passing the MRCS?
I plan on taking Part B next February.
    Thank you.

CCT is long term , you can apply for ST3 Training post . having more expeience deducts marks in shortlisting but if you switch speciality eg urology , vascular etc you can bypass over experience deduction

    Hello,
I am final year medical student from Guyana, south America. I am planning to give MRCS exam next year in the month of January as I will be getting a my PMQ in the month of november 2023. I have a query it would be great if you could clear it. As I said I will be giving MRCS part A next year in 2024 and by the end of 2024 or early 2025 I will be giving part b and pass the exam. As soon as I pass the exam after my GMC registration will be getting directly into ST3 neurosurgery? It's my dream to get into neurosurgery training in the Uk. If not what will be the other way I can go to neurosurgery training after passing MRCS exam. And one more thing do i need to do internship if I have already passed MRCS
That would be really helpful for me, if possible after passing MRCS exam and getting GMC registration.
Without internship am i eligible in uk for ST training?
I will be waiting for your reply.

It doesn’t work like that -
      1) you need to have basic surgical training competence as well good portfolio
