Hey! After completing 1 year as a working doctor in australia through the Competent Authority pathway and obtaining your PR status, does it put you in the obligation to work in an area of need for 10 years or something like that? And could you please also explain in what case an IMG is obligated to work in an area of need.
AMC clinical exam pass rate is so low. Can i take NZREX instead? It shows 60% in google.. If i pass and work over there for a period, can i migrate to aus from nz without any exam?
You can according to the new rules but that’s a minimum of 2 years house officer training to register in NZ, provided you secure a job the chances for which are minimal.
Thank you so much for sharing your valuable experience wich will help the upcoming future Doctors.. What are your insights over img friendly specialities is it just like once you are into the system you can pick up anything as long as you are competent enough with the local fellow doctor? Thank you
I am start thinking of trying to take between plab and AMC. But I hear that plab will be taken as UKMLA at the early of 2024 which some of my friends said that would be more difficult than plab. And I am afraid that if I start taking plab right now, but if by any chance, I still haven't taken plab 2 till 2024, then I will inevitably meet with ukmla. So I start thinking of taking AMC. Is it worthwhile taking over AMC than plab? As I think I might need more time to take plab and afraid of facing ukmla for the first time. Or should I take plab straightly without considering the latter case? Would you give me a hand, please?
Thanks for this info , but as a doctor I have worked in the uk with GMC registration for a year but in private practice not the NHS , does this make me Eligible to work in Australia?

Hello One question Is it possible to acquire speciality training through this pathway because in the UK, GMC registration has more than one path including MRCP,MRCPsych, MRCS…etc which are requirements of speciality training. However, through other ways of registration such as Medical Training Initiative(MTI) you can’t get speciality training! The question is is it same with this pathway in Australia? Thank you
Hi.. thanks for making this video it was really informative. Can you please tell me how long can it take to enter a residency and how long can residency be? E.g like in the UK the whole process after passing Plab then doing job as a junior doctor and entering and completing a residency takes almost 8 to 9 years. So can we specialize in Australia in less time than that?

Hy Naj .. Sain .. Nice videos. Just 2 Questions, if you may kindly share some guidelines. Q1. How difficult is it to get Medical Internship for an Australian Citizen studying MBBS in Malaysia, since Malaysia do not allow medical students to do internships after finishing MBBS studies and ask them to go back to their home countries to complete their medical internships. Q2. For an Australian Citizen studying MBBS in Malaysia, what would you recommend AMC pathway vs PLAB pathway (I know its possible to get a job after AMC1) but still AMC2 sounds very tough. Kindly advise .. Thanks & great going.

They say third times a charm, I've officially passed AMC MCQ1🎉🎉 for all my repeat test takers don't give up and don't be discouraged.
I failed 3 times, i lost money to reviews that never helped but the major thing is that I've not lost hope
Passing the AMC MCQ1 is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas
