Hey Ryan, nice video!... Is it necessary to precisely polar align this mount or just roughly alignment is enough? I have a mount without goto system, and I don't enjoy the process of polar align 😅. I would like to have something simpler and this mount looks nice
I've roughly polar aligned for the moon in eq mode, and it performed well. When I say roughly, I just pointed it north using the stellairum app. And done the 2 or 3 star alignment on the skyscan app. This works fine. Or you can use a laptop or an asi air. I haven't done this yet, but I may do once the clouds go away. Would that be something that you would be interested to see all the best, and thanks for watching Ryan.
