Hub kits amzn.to/2ZKNjS4 amzn.to/3CDgftR Dewalt 12v impact driver amzn.to/3byFsK6 Today we are working on a club car with a bad front wheel bearing and the only way to get the wheel hub is to order the new style hub and knuckle assembly along with a new hub nut #ClubCar #GolfCars #SmallEngineRepair #ATV#SmallEngineMechanic #GolfCartRepair #MechanicalRepair
I’m fairly certain the hubs you installed are the Precedence 2004+ / DS 2003+ hubs. They have the ball bearings like what you installed. The DS 82-02 hubs have tapered roller bearings and are still readily available.
How do you diagnose an out of round wheel? I have a bouncy ride and can see the tires are not running true...they have a radial runout...now I know it doesn't mean it is the tires...it could be...but also could be wheel...hub...spindle etc...
Awesome video! Very comprehensive. Appreciate the part numbers as well. 🍻 Personal aside - what part of Texas is your accent from? -a fellow southerner
Any ideas on where to locate Sten dealers? Sten doesn’t respond to inquiries and their site sells to dealers only. Never heard of them on the Space Coast of Florida. Great video by the way!
That is not as bad as my mid 90’s makati chainsaw. They completely quit making parts for it The engine runs great but you can not get the oil pump or sprockets. I still dislike changes that require other parts
@@redeyedmongoose2963 One thing is true, people who are stupid or just do stupid stuff sometimes, they keep people like you and me working. A ton of it can be the SIMPLEST of stuff and they do this and that and even make it worse than it started. I mean, they pay to get it fixed so.
There goes another 'repairable' part and in comes the disposable design. For road vehicles as average speeds increased, for safety reasons they started making disposable suspension parts like control arms and hubs. If a bush goes, you gotta buy the whole arm and are listed as whole parts. But this is a golf buggy, won't go that fast and yet they still want to sell the whole assembly just for worn bearings. The energy that went into manufacturing that new arm, and multiply that by thousands.....And then they tell us about global warming!
I hate to say, but really? Taper bearings are available all over the place. Think of boat trailers. I understand you are a commercial repair person so you fall under different rules, but you install Chinese carbs instead of OEM. So why not bearings?

Dang what about using a shim sleeve over the axel and a couple washers under the castle nut?
Thanks for a great video. I would like to know what you use to lift the front end, I see the chain around the spring.
Love it. Thanks. Will the new hub require it to be Lubed?

Good video! Thanks a lot!
This is what I need to repair my carts at work. Why the two different links for the hub kits though?
Same process on the ezgos’?
Both sides I gather Jeremy....
Does it need a Wheel Alignment?
No, you don’t have to upgrade both sides. caster and camber are set at the factory. Only thing you can adjust is the toe
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 thanks for reply, thought one side was bad, the other wouldn’t be so great either.
Good modification of parts.
Great video. Can you buy bearings and races to fit the old hub from a bearing company?
Great video

You sir, have the wrong bearing. Lol thats 04+ bearing. 🤦♂️
What year model is this cart?
What is that chain wrapped around in the front, you can just barely see it in one of the pictures
Frame
Part number and link for knuckle?
And this ladies and gentlemen is how big corporations keep the income coming in.
What's the new bearing inner diameter?
.78"

This unit certainly has not had an excess of maintenance
Operators are too stupid to know when something is wrong they just keep running it until it literally falls apart
@@THEMOWERMEDIC1 good reason for them to be slow !
