    UNCHARTED is such a great name for your Jeep. Love the black on black. Instructive and fun video. Can't wait for more!

      Thanks! I thought it was very fitting and really enjoyed telling the story behind it. I bet you liked seeing some of the props.

      @@86Ctopher I actually paused the video at points to better scan the collected artifacts. I enjoyed the video very much and applaud your efforts. Looking forward to your future video's.

    My first Jeep was a blue CJ5 that we named Bessie the blue mule, Bessie for short. I drove that one for years. My current is a 05 LJ that I just call Ol' Blue.

      Love it! I have considered painting my Jeep Blue but am so indecisive on actually doing it. maybe after a few more trail rides and a few more scratches. Thanks for the comment Buddy! Stay safe out there.

    I’m a mountaineer, I love to climb. I named my Jeep Wrangler JL SHERPA after the best mountaineers in the world. I also own a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer name Griswold because something always went wrong on road trips.

      Those names are Excellent. I can totally relate to both as My old stomping grounds growing up were the Rockies and who doesn't love The Griswold's? Thanks for the comment!

      @@86Ctopher Uncharted is a awesome name for a Jeep. It’s original, Sherpa gets me to the start of the trailhead, then with a topo map, a compass, and my gear I get get off the trail and go where probably no one has gone before. I love the San Juan Mountains in Southern Colorado. Griswold is old, and is my Sunday Funday Jeep now. He runs great for his age, but plan to do an old frame restoration starting next spring.

      @@jcfc8197 So cool you like to get off the beaten path. get the true sense of adventure. Colorado is such a great place. I need to jump over to Wyoming , Utah and Northern California but I just can't seem to get further than Colorado. You should check out Bishop's Castle in Rye , CO. really cool..

      @@86Ctopher I was heartbroken on my last backpacking trip with my dad, fire hit the Rainbow Trail, trees burnt to a crisp, and those that came down looked like God and Jesus where playing a game of Pick Up Sticks. We’ve been going to the Rainbow Hot Springs since the 70’s off and on, and it was unrecognizable 3 yrs ago. I basically had to blaze a new trail up to the waterfall to camp. I do love taking the unbeaten path, it simply more peaceful that way. One day I just might head up into the mountains and never come out. Just go full on Grizzly Adam’s and stay.

      @@jcfc8197 Gizzly Adam's!!! Ha Ha! that's funny. I seriously busted out loud when I read that. I am hopeful that the trail recovers. just takes some time and a great deal of effort from the park management. Best of luck and stay safe out there Mr. G. Adam's

    Whats your lift and tire setup? Looking to get the same stance as yours

    • @86Ctopher
      @86Ctopher  ปีที่แล้ว

      So the lift is the 4.5 inch ICON lift (springs and shocks). It did have the JKS Drag link flip kit as well to keep the geometry right on the steering components. I swapped that out with the MetalCloak when I was replacing the Tie rod recently. You will definitely want to consider adjustable control arms and also pay attention to your stock drive shaft. The angle is too much and the boot will rip, spraying grease every where near the transfer case. When I bought the jeep the boot was already ripped. Teraflex makes a high angle kit and it has worked flawlessly for 3 years now. Tires are 37 x12.50r17 STT Pro

      Wheels are Outlaw with 4.5 inch back spacing I believe. oh.. and you will need longer sway bar links and possibly longer brake lines front and rear. You won't want to flex your suspension and pop a line while on the trail.
