Just got my 2014 jeep 4d Rubicon. Iv had a few ideas, it's dark gun metal grey. I'm debating on predator (the movie), decapitora (tv show grim), or I was going to repaint it orange to black (front to back) and name it jack(jack-o'-lantern) and the reaper. Going to do accents for it. Plan on wheeling it. Also a 1 off piece would be nice for the pre owner(my gfs dad) I'm taking all of his stickers off and putting them on a board as something like a picture he can hang. This is Jan 08 2023 if it could have a "fuck you cancer" tag on it it would be awesome! Her family (dad more than all, has taken me in) we actually traded vehicles my tundra for his jeep. We are waiting for last chemo results to see what's next. His bday is Valentine's day when he gets them 02/14/23. A response would be cool for all questions lmao I'm thinking predator

When I was a pre-teen, my older siblings had a friend who owned a Baja-kitted VW Beetle. It was red, had a stinger exhaust, and pictures of Yosemite Sam on the doors and "Back Off" Yosemite Sam mud flaps on the rear fenders. He called it, unsurprisingly, Yosemite. Because of that, when I got my Texas Yellow Beetle a number of years later, I had the intent of doing similar with Tweety Bird, but I named mine Tweety Bug (and with the stock exhaust, it would have kinda "tweeted"). My second car was a Dodge, "Marvin" (the Martian), the third was Doodle (my then girlfiend named that one) and the fourth was Rosita because it was red and I bought it in an area with heavy Hispanic heritage. My wife's car when we met and to this day is Sunny. The minivan is Pearl. Not a single one of them a Jeep. I now have a Gladiator. I have a name picked, and a few other options, but I think it's unique enough. It's nothing I would expect someone else to have used like "Li'l Red Wagon" or "Big Red" or "Silver Surfer" or "Gunner" or "Beast" or "Smalls" or "Tiny" or... or anything in a name book. And no, I'm not putting the name out there yet. Not until it's decal-on-the-hood permanent ;) But it's techie, and I've spent some time sketching up some artwork to put on the hood with the name, and using GIMP I've simulated the artwork and the name on the hood... and I think I like it...

@@Whiteandsonsgarage the renegade was awesome on interstate and hwys yet still capable of light to moderate off roading even stock if you get the tailhawk. It is comfortable and better storage capability and the my sky is awesome. I would own another renegade. Love the wrangler because of the look and more aftermarket stuff avaliable and the full convertible tops and removable doors. I would suggest if you do light off-road but a lot of 70mph runs the renegade is m9re comfortable and better gas millage. The renegade is financially easier on the wallet also but nothing feels like a wrangler! Lol i dont care how wiggly or bumpy and love my wrangler! If i could of owned both the renegade and wrangler i would of to me that is the best of both worlds.

Always name our vehicles!! Our daughter named her Bronco “Bonnie” and her Cherokee XJ “Clyde” 🤣 Named my silver XJ “Buggy”, but don’t like it that much. Gotta think of another one 🤷🏼♀️😄
My TJ is called Naranja Mecánica, which means Mechanic Orange as the Netherlands Soccer team. The CJ7 is Black Stallion and the Rubicón is just Rubi the Jeep. Now lookin for a name on the CJ5 we are picking up tomorrow.

Currenty I have a 2006 Jeep LJ Rubicon and it is Midnight Blue so I call it Old Blue. I have had a lot of vehicles but I don't name them all. I used to have a 2012 Jeep Rubicon and called it Mango Tango because of it's colour. A lot of times it is named because of it's colour.

I have an '02 TJ that's Patriot Blue. I know it's pretty basic, but I named it Blue. It's actually less about the color, and more about "You're my boy, Blue!" quote in Old School. I also have a '13 Grand Cherokee Overland that goes to Assateague Island National Seashore on a regular basis. I have an OSV (Over Sand Vehicle) permit, so we can drive right on the beach. Her name is Sandy.
I’m a mountaineer and love climbing. Since my JL will be carrying me and my gear to go climb mountains, I named my Jeep Sherpa after the best mountaineers in the world.

I also have a 1990 white with woody panels Jeep Grand Wagoneer, It took a year to restore it to new condition. It would always break down on me, no matter what I did the carburetor had issues. I removed the carburetor and installed fuel injection among tons of other things. Years before the restoration and its habit of breaking down, I name my Jeep Grand Wagoneer Griswold after the family name in National Lampoon’s Vacation since something always went wrong on their vacations. It’s a beast and loves gas with its V8 engine. You have to fill it up every 2hrs.

Great topic. Right after I got the Jeep my girlfriend at the time asked me what I was going to name it. I had never really named a vehicle before so I mulled over it. There was one time I had 3 of the same car and they were simply named "Blue","Silver" and "New Blue" but that was more for distinction since they were the same model. So with the Jeep I thought about it for a few months, a few names were tossed around, but one day my son said that the Jeep's name is "Beast". I asked him why he picked that name, essentially he said it was because it was a beast and can to anywhere, so she became "Beast". However in general use I usually just say "The Jeep".

As you can tell from my TH-cam channel my Jeep’s name is Underdog. I was telling my wife about how my Jeep has the 3.8 and is a Sahara 4 door , with no lockers. I told her it was a base Sahara package and would need a lot of work to get it to perform like a rubicon. She then told me it was the underdog then. That’s when it stuck.
