Hi Joe, been watching your videos and was wondering if you think any launch monitor companies would be interested in product testing launch monitors at high swing speeds. My driver club head maxes out at around 150 mph and I've been around 220 ball. I currently use a mevo plus which has actually worked well but I was wondering if you know of any launch monitors or companies who would want their products tested at higher than average speeds?
@brodyroby2161 not to much workouts on my end I played baseball in college I graduated about 5 years ago and stopped lifting then. Wanna get back into it and give long drive a try could be a fun thing and gives me reasons to workout again
Joe what projector are you using to get the display resolution to fill the screen. I have a benq th575 an I cant figure out how to get the projector to fill the 12x9 screen
I show how to do the custom resolution in this video 👍👍 mine is set to a custom aspect ratio. th-cam.com/video/-Rl9IuDD8B0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=TaR4-SUmUeYlkmhp
Wow that was some test! Has any other unit putted as accurate? So chipping pitching seems very good down to 2-3 feet in length. What are you going to amaze us with next. Thanks for your thoroughness.
Thanks mate I really appreciate that. Yes launch monitors have in recent times have become really capable units for putting and chipping. The Protee VX, Uneekr Eye mini, GC3 all perform fantastically. As does the Square golf launch monitor
The EML is an established launch monitor from a major company in this game. The Nova is a new product from a start up so naturally I think people would put a lot more confidence in the EML and rightly so. I think if you want something that works out of the box get the EML. If you want something a bit different or need left and right handed play and don't mind the next year or so to iron out bugs and issues with updates then the Nova is just a fun device. My honest 2c
Joe there is a LM already on the market called the Nova. Isn’t there going to be a copy right issue. Optishot has multiple nits and one is an optical single camera unit that sits behind you. Matter of fact I would love a review if you can get one since it’s good optical that allows for left and right without being ceiling mounted.
Yes there is! They better rename that one 😂. I have seen it advertised but I haven't seen a lot of reviews on it. I'd love to test it that's for sure hopefully in the future 🤞
Joe, honestly, I just don’t get the “hating” on the shot delay. The delay has no impact on outcome and it’s not like waiting for the Rapsodo MLM2Pro trying to figure out a chip shot. I can’t imagine how those who complain ever get through a round in the real world where delays due to slow play must make them insane. They have said it will improve when the diagnostics are removed and having been in the software business that makes perfect sense. I can’t wait till they send you a production unit next year for you to prove to the doubters the delay no longer exists.
Hahahaha yes! I must admit I'm one of those who hates having a 6 hour round. Yeah absolutely I trust them and I'm sure I will have a video in the coming months that will be titled "The Nova now has no shot delay" 🤣
Another great video Joe. Keep them coming. Cheers
Thanks mate! The next one is a course play video 👍👍

Amazing speed man, what kind of workouts do you do?

@@nathanwrighter2379 you should definitely get into long drive with that speed, that’s just insane
@brodyroby2161 thank you hoping to do some training this winter and see where I stand speeds wise
Can I borrow some of that power..wow, that’s impressive. I’m an older guy trying to get my driver ball speed to 140 mph. That’s probably your SW
Hi Joe, How does this monitor handle left-handed golfers? An what would be the initial cost?
The cost of this will be $1500 and for lefties you can hit over the unit and basically use it as an alignment stick because of the low profile 👍

Joe anyway you could play Spud Run Golf on GSPro
Are you going to do similar tests like this with the Square?
He has already done in depth putting and chipping testing with the Square.
@ I didn’t see incremental putting, just some chipping with the square.

@ thx
These are the tests I will be putting all the launch monitors through. 👍👍 Standardised testing.

How does Nova rate up against these for chipping and putting? Are you planning a round on GS pro with nova? Thanks for your great content!
How would you rate this vs the EML?

This looks great! Do you have Chad's Discord username? Thanks!
Hey mate use the link in the description for the Nova discord and it will take you through to the guys. Chad goes by Chadgolf 👍
@JLagGOLF Thanks.
