4×4 low, we just wanted to check how good the auto locking rear diff works. Also, putting it in low range can be quite tricky. Nobody was actually pushing it to the bounds tho. That wasn't intended.

Well, you're talking about the solid axel ones. Obviously thay can never be beaten in pure offroad performance. The closest mahindra went with the cj4-5 jeep dna was Thar DI. Solid axels fron and rear, amazing offroad performance but absolutely awful on tarmac😂😂
Not just mahindra, due to safety regulations in India, especially pedestrian safety, the bumpers are requited to be of plastic. Only cars before the bs3 era will have metal bumpers in India with the exception of Bolero(2005-9) and heavy loader utility vehicles.
I dont think that would be possible. The low overhanging skid plate of the compass gives it an awful aproach angle. Also, the camera angle aint doing justice here, the patch was quite angled to the right. Untill you have a trailhawk, i dont think that would be possible.
