I usually try to stay away from the other two moutbreather and clear the map as well as I can. They usually slow you down. It's rare to find good people in a random Lobby. Not impossible. But rare.
Sorry I'd rather stay near an ammo crate and carry my team during a wave than running around like a Neanderthal then dying because everyone ran out of ammo.
Agreed but also situational. If the other 2 keep getting downed because they can’t handle the fights they pick, then repositioning and surviving long enough to respawn/revive Had one idiot get angry at me because I didn’t revive him and he was down in a bunch of those green brambles and surrounded by devourer tyranids. I chose to thin out numbers rather than risk being another down
I have not met a single player who talked shit in the game. Its always "I got you brother" "that was close brother" "gg brother" "for the Emperor!!" and i couldn't be prouder. the occasional time I run across someone not really ready for Ruthless, I point out Data locations, Gene Seed locations and give them the Relics and Health. If I play Bulwark I baby them with my Flag on executions. Assist the lower skill players and keep the Marine numbers strong, for there appears to be no end to the number of Tyranids.
I've only had one bad experience with a guy and it was when I was using my max bulwark on minimal because I wanted to try out the power fist. Guy talked mad trash because I was max level. I can't exactly play ruthless with a standard quality power fist lol
I called someone out last night for being a hoarding loot gremlin... realized he was perfectly dressed as a blood raven apologized and let him carry on
Minor rule i have is " if/when you find geneseed or a servoskull, ping it and let it sit for a second or two so people have a chance to see where it is."
@@NoDebuffsyeah…everyone gets it but not everyone knows WHERE the skulls are. You ping it so in the future they might remember to check that spot again. I now know every spawn for everything on the first operation and most of the spawns on the second one. Mostly cause of people pointing them out to me before I’ve found them.
Here is one you missed: Always address your fellow Astartes as either “Brother(s)” if you hail from the same Chapter or “Cousin(s)” for different Chapters. The Emperor protects.
A caveat for the “kill stealing” rule: if your teammate is getting shanked on the corner by 3+ melee warriors and they’re playing a class like heavy that kind of struggles in melee please for the love of God *help them.* I cannot tell you how many times I’ve been mauled by like 6 warriors as heavy while the assault is putzing around with some gaunts. Sometimes they’ll literally stand there and watch as your health bar melts.
I find myself being the assault fighting off the minions while I turn around and see the heavy getting there ass kicked, rest assured I’m using my last jump charge and fucking shit up
@@tonyluong6732 executions can sometimes be a matter of life or death for a teammate who needs to refill contested health. I think that’s my biggest peeve in this entire game, I’m nearly dead and desperately need the armor bar and contested health but just before I can do the last execution the full health tactical comes in and steals it.
@hansstrudel9614 nah, it ain't that deep there's literally trillions of tyranids, if you can't find another one to execute then you're the one in the wrong. Kill stealing only applies if there's a limited number of things to kill
When i was an under leveled Sniper in Ruthless, a Heavy babysat me by using his shield and standing beside me as I sniped enemies for our frontline to get easy execution. Dude was my best friend in our Ruthless runs and I love how friendly the WH community is without needing to say anything. We just knew and understood our roles and we worked to get the mission done. We are brothers in arms against the Alien, the Heretic, and the Mutants. All we have are each other when we're on the battlefield.
Unwritten Rule (Just For Me): If you're in voice chat, referring to everyone-regardless of gender-as "brother" is mandatory. In all seriousness, though, Unwritten Tactical rule: check the rear when Extremis show up or during an enemy wave. You WILL get pinched, and you should try to make the fight the least amount of crowded as possible.
I was in group yesterday that was so smooth we did about seven runs total together before parting ways. The entire time the courtesy of sharing melee finishers/executions was so high that at times all three of us would leave the elites behind thinking someone would have taken it Lol “no, you can have it” “Nono, YOU sir!”
Anothet unwritten rule: Don't speedrun in public queue. If you just want to do the obj and roll pass everything in order to farm XP, do it by yourself or with friends, don't a nuisance and do it in public queue and don't help out in fight because you already roll yourself to the end. Got 2 instances of speedrunner rolling pass everything, ignoring the boss data and the one you can pick up. Doesn't help in fight obviously.
Personaly i follow the rule: Genseed Carrier gets stim Privilege. If i am to carry the genseed i will absolutely vacume every single stim i can possibly carry. If i dont have a the genseed i wont touch stims till the one who does have it is full health with two in reserve.
Geneseed priority is not high enough for that. I would rather get through the mission than die because we were trying to hard to get slightly more XP. Req and data is more important
@@CrizzyEyes depends, if your relatively new, ofc you should focus on a succesfull mission first. But later on the mission succes is borderline guaranteed so its a lot more important that the genseed carrier doesnt go down once. Also, id argue that the best person with the most survivability gets the genseed and with it all of the stims making their survival even more secure. As long as they dont go down there is no way to fail the mission either.
@@CrizzyEyesI'd prefer to master a weapon or unlock it's next tier from the boost in XP than play the exact same mission again for the minimal amount I'll need. Geneseed is amazing for leveling and getting better weapons. It's life
To expand a bit on gene seed, if you find it in a place where you know there will be a big fight, or if the carrier swaps it for a relic in an area you know there will be a big fight (like the final part of Inferno), then LEAVE IT ON THE GROUND. It's not going anywhere, and you can pick it up after the fight is over. Picking it up means risking losing it if you go down. Also, I haven't confirmed this 100%, but it seems like if the carrier has a mortal wound and dies immediately, the seed will drop on their corpse instead of disappearing.
Good idea but DO NOT DO THIS IN ANY FINAL AREA OTHER THAN INFERNO! All other final parts will end the missions before you can get the geneseed back unless you grab it before finishing the objective but that relies on you're teamates not doing it early so play it safe and just hold it till the end outside last inferno. Though for some areas outside final obj it can work.
“People who’ve earned the right to brag often realize that they don’t need to soon after and getting mad at someone else just helps expose your own shortcomings” heavy banger of a line a lot of ppl should hear
If you find a resource you do not need, mark it for your team. If no one else wants it, or they don't seem interested in, take it. Waste nothing, brothers
My personal rules are: 1. Ping important consumables like stims and Armor Boosts 2. Save Krak grenades on the off chance that a Neuro/Zoan shows up 3. When I play heavy, clear the chaff and then began fools in the head to help get those execs 4. When I play Bulwark, resources go to my team, aside from the odd stim here and there, since melee and gun strikes are all that I need most of the time. 5. I don't care what weapon you use. Put Fencing on it,of you can
-Leave the Executions for those who need the armour or for Tacticals that need the ammo. If nobody else is nearby, go ahead and take it. -Melee classes get priority on Krak Grenades (because Zoanthropes). -Sniper, Heavy and Tactical get priority on ammo. -Vanguard and melee classes get priority on armour. -You can use the Objectives button (TAB on PC by default, I think) to check what items teammates are holding -If you're not sure who an item should go to, mark it. If everybody ignores it and runs ahead, the item is yours.
I dont care about 'muh difficulty'. Granted, I do feel like they could rebalance it a little but I care about the fact that it feels better to play now. Wow, my armor doesn't disappear the moment i gun strike something in a horde. Wow, I can replenish my armor by parrying the minoris so its easier to fight in hordes. Wow, chaos is easier to fight and not just a pure annoying slog. This patch is great.
I'm of the opinion that the game is now a bit too easy, but not to the point that it ruins the game for me or will lead me to really complain about it. I think they could have gone with either A) making it so that the general parrying of small enemies replenishes armour or B) making it so that small enemies don't take a full segment of armour per hit. They decided to go for both, and that's okay. I'm hoping the new difficulty will bump up the tension in fights again, as I found myself starting to enjoy the Thousand Sons engagements more and more due to the challenge. BUT I've been playing this game more than most, so it started to almost feel like a rhythm game when you're up in their face. I do think they need the Flamers to take half a second longer to get off that AoE attack where they fire onto the ground. That can be massively punishing if you're mid heavy attack animation and can't back out in time. Only ones that cause an issue like that, as the game is great for letting players cancel an action when and where required, overall. I'm here for the ride and fine with them experimenting with changes and altering things where they feel it's needed, as the core gameplay is just that satisfying.
@@jacobchmielewski3622 Not only are you in the wrong video (A video about having manners, yet behaving like a dunce), you're also not welcomed in the community. You would make Guiliman cringe in disappointment
@@intergalactickoala665 Hell yeah If needed, maybe they could buff the damage to armor or reduce the armor regained at high difficulties. I think that would be a decent way to regain some challenge while keeping the design intact.
"Dont be a prick" is by far the most important rule. I saw a higher level sniper in my group and changed to heavy then got kicked. Level of character does not equal level of skill in a player. Be patient and try not to be a dick and that helps everyone.
a simple rule: Watch Team Mates Health... if you find stims when youre at full health, ping them for another. a simple rule pt2: Ping Ammo for your Heavy Please!... as a heavy player, if im out of ammo and have to melee, id fold to a wet paper bag since the melee takes so long and doesnt do any damage instead of a bash and stagger
Why is nobody talking about the ungodly carnage straight in the first minute of video? Absolutely masterful chainsword gameplay. Thank you for the dopamine overdose Jebbles 🙏
I played on ruthless all day after the patch and it feels like they increased the amount of enemies for the tyranids because, I feel like I am getting swarmed more than before unless I’m probably trippin. I really do feel that more enemies have been spawning.😅
I don't see how it is "better" to have even less enemies vs chaos. I already HATE HOW BADLY DESIGNED the "kill 10 enemies within 3 seconds" perks are, on both class trees or weapon perks. They are barely usable against nids. They were triggerable once or twice at best vs chaos. Now... Yeah you can forget about those. Less enemies also indirectly nerfs frag grenades, with are tbh the worst of any nades. I just don't understand that decision.
@@ipatchymakouli415 yeah man having 8 marines plus terminators doing trickshots from the other side of the map was fun af bring it back so i can keep spaming roll animation
When you are playing heavy, the iron halo is (more) for your teammates, not you. Put yourself between your squad and ranged crowds and create an advantage.
I disagree here. I think the Iron Halo is a great support skill, but not for the shielding effect itself, but for all the buffs and effect you and your team get if the shield is active and also on cooldown. I think a good Heavy should try to use this ability pretty much on cooldown for all the benefits.
I think its also worth considering revive etiquette. While you don't have to sacrifice yourself to get your players up, you should try to make space to get them up if it is at all possible to do so. Leaving them to die makes them sit there for more than a minute not getting to play the game and that's not very fun. Roleplaying as the badass lone man against the storm is cool and all, but keep it out of the *co-op* mode. You would want them to get you up.
Rule #1 needs amending. If you have nothing to contribute verbally other than your Spotify playlist, phone call conversations, etc TURN OFF YOUR MIC please.
As a primary Heavy in addition to crowd clear if you see your melee guys in pitched melee with Majoris and Extremis level enemies never be afraid to lay a couple of pot shots on their opponent to set the table for an execution. It's an alley oop pass, so share the rock. ^^
1st rule is needed. I was playing bulwark with little health… I keep trying to full heal myself and this tactical keep appearing from behind and stole my executions. This happened 3 times! I even dropped my flag for 1 of them. I was deeply frustrated
also, if you get your red helthbar depleted, and have no way to deal masive damage, USE YOUR STIM BEFORE THE WHITE BAR GOES DOWN!!!:.. that will replenish the whole thing, instead of saving the stims for later..
A common rule for my squad (friends) is prioritize ammo for other classes. Classes like heavy and sniper should have high priority over smaller ammo boxes cause they are either squishy or have no melee weapon at all. I’ve been with randoms who hog all the ammo boxes when they only fired off a few round while I’m playing heavy and I have no ammo and I die.
As a Vanguard, I ping ammo boxes first. If the others go past, then I pick it. And since getting the heal on Majoris kill perk, I tend to leave the stims with a ping.
1) Stick togeder and coordinate: do not wander around triggering enemies just because you wanna see if crates are around or the ServoSkull is floating before the others: go solo if you only care about collecting things 2) matchmakng does not prevent a low level to go into Ruthless: if you happen to be a low level in higher difficoulty scenarios, telle the party and leave, do not sandbag people. 3) stop launching yourself into frenzy and try to kill as much enemies as possible with no logic: that 10 points more at the end of the mission are a grain of sand and not worthy, to have your team risk to die before srage completion. 4) stay away from the line of fire, expecially from the one of a Heavy, act accordingly to your class and have the big guy clean the room and act as a Crowd controller.
it's not always intentional. they should add the ability to remap controller, because a stick press at the wrong moment will have you fininshing a guy you didnt even know was there, but also, get over it, cmon. if youre good enough to criticize youre good enough to work around them.
@@lennydidthat Context clues would make obvious I’m upset ab ppl who constantly do it without contributing to other elements of da game. Not sum player accidentally stealing 1.
Be quick about changes to your equipment after you've joined a random party. We don't want to wait around for you to paint your whole damn Marine. Do that on your own time. Bonus: you can teleport to different stations in the Barge. On PS5, just hit the pro pad. Dunno the binding for other platforms.
Nades are more effective and have better CC than a Melee going full Unga Bunga Gorilla man. Throw grenades wait for booms, then go in and have your fun.
Minor thing about the first point: As a heavy who is usually playing with friends, a good idea is to (after dealing with the hordes) soften up the Elites so they are either in Execution range or damn near it and let your teammates get it, just to keep the frontliners going with i-frames and an armour refresh, they probably need it more than you ESPECIALLY if they're Vanguard. This is triply so if you're running the Heavy Plas, that thing RINSES Elites in a charged shot or 2. Also, don't keep shooting an Elite in Execute range, ammo is scarce already you don't need to blow it on something that can be killed for free.
I had a sniper that shot the enemy maybe 6 times the entire op. He spent the rest of his time running in with his little knife, trying to steal executions from me (bulwark), and got killed three times. I kept asking myself why would anyone pick sniper to just go into melee. Fortunately, the heavy was a good guy. Whenever the choice was between protecting him or the sniper, always chose him because we played multiple missions together, and we were clicking pretty well.
@@JebblesJunior Very true, but it'd still be a nice QOL to have the armor pips show up under their health and a couple of white crosses for stims next to the bar. Quick, at-a-glance need assessment without opening another screen would be a plus for the community.
So far this has been one of the most friendly multiplayer games i've played, also not really a sniper main but i love setting up executions for my close range brothers!
Here's a video idea I think this channel could do really well (unless you already have and I missed it): What things should you have a good handle on before you start each difficutly, and what things should you work on while you are in a specific difficulty. When should you hope to have what grade in your trials? How far along the weapon percs? What level? and of course what combat skills/game understanding should you have? You don't need to actually explain every item in the video, but I think it would really help for players to have a sort of road map for progressing both their character, and their skills as a player.
Lethal comes end of October. Together with the neo Volkite Pistol. But don't expect too much. They still haven't buffed anything BUT the power fist and heavy incinerator. Absolutely nobody was asking for this. This patch was baffling to say the least
Definitely people need to learn to play what they can handle. The amount of times I've seen people using lvl1 characters in Ruthless difficulty with underpowered weapons and the fact that they keep going down and taking all the resources...is just annoying. I've eventually learned to either kick or just leave if I see a lvl 1 in Ruthless difficulty instead of wasting like 30 minutes just to fail an operation.
Unwritten rule: If you are being transferred into someone elses game, you lose class agency for whomever is already there. Exception being if you make a case of being a better player, or if you convince the purpose of needing to be that class (Leveling it up, achievements)
Or in general kicking people playing the same class the second they join. Can’t tell you the number of times I went straight to the armory to change class and get kicked before the menu opens
I think the difficulty issue is worthy of deep consideration form a numebr of perspectives and I really appriciate your approach (ie give it a beat) and perspective towards the topic. Primarily this game is Space Marine 2 a warhammer 40K shooter. That existing market is huge between the books, minis, painting, collecting and casual fans and the (often bad) previous 40K game properties. I know from first hand (my mate is a 40k Wargamer 10 YES TEN armies) but hes not a sweaty-gamer not even by half. My other mate is into 40K via the lore and books (as am I) but hes a casual gamer who enjoys RTS and 4x games the most and the occasional ARPG. Im a sweaty-gamer jumping form new release to new release adn clanning in game with legs etc. I picked up the trials on A level day one of operations. My mates... not so much. They found the game too hard and quickly lost interest in operations and PVP. Operations particulaly had them running for the hills. I think the changes have been made to help these people enjoy the game. Since the patch one of them has come back into game and has enjoyed his week back in game finding it more accessable. I think a lot of the "built-in" market will find the changes positive. Boosting is now also easier and less of a PITA. So going into a random low level mish' with a maxed toon is fun and you can show people the ropes and teach them the maps etc spreeding the wealth so to speak and uilding better players for later content. With coming new difficulty lvl and horde mode I think the core-gamer crowd will find challange doing these modes (im not sure how many of the core gamer group will stay with the game anyway tbh they will be off to the next thing for FOMO). I find its very common to see Assault as a lets good Vanguard; thats fine play the way that keeps a smile on your dial. I'll offer another great niche for Assault and that is Mobile reserve or QRF. Let the other players do thier thing and wait a beat or two to see how the battlefield develops. All while plinking with your heavy bolter. Then stike at that point where your pressence will make a huge difference through overwhelming "death-from-above" a fully charged ground pound + your 100% extra gamage bonus and your +25% Majoris/Extremus bonus makes for a great force multiplier where its need most. Its just another option for play style open to the class which is worth considering as you go through a mission. It becomes really obvious when playing alongside a Vanguard that they tend to be more mobile and sligithly better suited to the hit and run. In this case the Assult can wait a tic or two leap and come down and stay in play with the heavier armour and 360 carnage built into the classes weapon choices. its counter intuitve to play this way at first but it works wonderfully with a good group that can play thier class and especially well with ranged calsses.
If you’re at a transition point like an airlock and a horde spawns, just move on to the next area (especially if you don’t have an ammo crate or loadout pod to keep yourself topped up).
depends on the map, in the first mission if one spawns before you cross the ridge to the big open area in entrance to the refinery then they will spawn on the other side of the ridge after the break through rock thing.
As @Archmagos_Faber said, depending on the map and the specific part of the map, sometimes spawns persist through assembly points - so if you have a wave that's not yet cleared at one part, then proceed to the next, you'll have a wave in that part to (though unsure if it's a "full" wave or "partial" wave). They gave a solid and definite example, but an example the other way, the assembly point after the loadout pod in that area *does* cut off the wave behind you (the assembly point heading into the generator area). Basically, if you're in a controlled area, especially with an ammo cache or loadout pod around, and you aren't familiar enough with the map to know the assembly points that do cut off waves - it's a good idea to clean up the wave before moving on. Especially final areas - I know for certain that on Vox Liberatus and Reliquary the waves can persist into the final area and make it much more painful. I don't believe they can follow you on Decap, I believe they can on Inferno, and I'm not familiar enough with Fall of Atreus or Ballistic Engine to say either way on those ones.
Great video! every player needs to follow these to heart! there are a couple of things I'd like to point out if you don't mind. (no disrespect) -Executions: Help allies to disable the enemy, but don't go for the kill. help them save their health and armor, a couple of good shots or melee strikes can help a lot. -Grenades: Most players seem to ignore Krak grenades and Melta bombs (my favorite) and don't seem to understand how powerful they are. -Relics: Give them to Death marked allies if possible, as they can revive themselves and remove the death mark without using stims. and can really help in later stages of a level. -Teamwork: Fight together or Die alone! don't cry if you rush ahead and die to a mob.
i find it very annoying when players, especially console player, who don't turn of their microphone and blasting a) music like CCR or other shit, b) and by the throne, having soundfeedback from the game, like tv on full volume, mic thinks it's talking and streams it nonstop. annoying af.
This really plays into the second and third rules, but use the ping system and in game phrases (hold the ping for control). It really helps the whole team as you can ping items like medic kits and ammo and help give them to teammates and then using the phrases to say thanks just helps with the mode. It is wonderful to play with people when we all have no mics but are pinging items and thanking each other for allowing us all to get meds, relics and reviving each other. Having no mic is no excuse for not communicating.
On the topic of "Know your Role and play it well" I've recently picked up Sniper, (Lets go Raptors) and have been playing a BUNCH of operations. Although I'm normally a Heavy player, Sniper is the only job that I've been playing where Randoms are actively complimenting my kills and setting them up for Executions for armor. I had one Heavy Void Trident player i was with ask if they could friend me so we could play more, which has only ever happened to me in Helldivers games. Overall, i think its more of a support role than even the Bulwark. Being able to basically give your teammates an "Armor delivery" by a headshotting a warrior or Rubric Marine and letting them recover their armor while also taking the heat off of them is fantastic. Sniper on Tyranid missions is a lot different from Chaos becuase, for the most part, you want to minimize the amount of time a Majoris target is standing because of that Synaptic Pulse/Surge. For Chaos its all about taking the Ranged damage off your teammates and pinging them if they need armor. Youll have to deal with chaff way more but the larger targets are even easier to headshot than the Tyranids since they dont block your shots.
Status update: I gave Assault class another try after I watched your video on it and I have no regrets! I eventually got gud with the hammer and learned to be opportunistic with gun strikes. And to top it all off, I recently had a sick ass dual with a carnafex before watching this and I don’t think I would’ve had that experience if I didn’t heed your advice. And as a bonus I’m also subconsciously paying closer attention to the fight animations so I don’t get caught with my pants down. All in all, thanks a lot for your help!🤘🏻🐺🤘🏻
Check your squad's carried equipment when looking to share, just because someone is sitting at low HP doesn't mean you need to sit there spam pinging a stim for them, they might already be carrying and are deliberately saving to clear a wound on higher difficulties, have some sort of death defy off cooldown they'd rather have trigger before burning a limited resource, or get some sort of bonus whilst being low. If they're not carrying then they'll probably be greatful for the safety net, but if they don't want it, don't try and force it and top yourself up.
Counterpoint to the grenades Heavy has a perk to give an extra grenade after ~10 quick kills, it's usually worth giving them a krak pair for their equipment economy
Unspoken rule, if at any point you are impatient and rude about people playing the game because you want to speedrun the content I will absolutely take my time to fight a wave even if we are at a door or an elevator that will skip the wave. That doesn't mean I won't use those doors or elevators to skip waves, but if you are going to be rude about it at anypoint, I will 100% waste your time.
Another unwritten rule: do not be afraid to get outside your comfort zone and play other play other classes. The game will tell you what other classes are being used, and pick a class that could bring balance to that roster. Many classes also share weapons between each other; so leveling weapons on one class can help you level up on another. It’s also canon! Space Marines are trained in a variety of roles, as both scouts, devastators (heavy weapons, assaults, and tactical.
Dunno is anyone mentioned this, but- the hud does display brothers’ shield and health bars. You can gauge when others need your buffs from banners or other supports. Don’t save it, use it. Also: Don’t be a spastic loot goblin. Like damn, just because you can carry 2 stims doesn’t mean you should. You can leave them there and pick them up later, especially in defend or beat back horde points. Or let another grab them for later. Melee classes can really regain shield and health with parries and executions. Other classes like heavies or snipers will thank you for leaving them something to use later.
Did come up with a couple of new ones. If your ally is grabbed by a lictor/ravener/scarab shoot it or hit it. It will end the grab early and save them some armor/health. If you are a bulwark try to tell players to notify you before they want to use stims. A flag will make a stim a full heal and clear mortals with a single stim if flagged first for the contested health. Assault jump attack can knock bosses out of certain attacks for example jump attacking the hive tyrant before his 3 psychic wave attack will negate it.
saw the video and thought "i bet hes not gonna mention executions" first rule Bam. thank you for that. nothing worse than being beat up with 0 armor fighting the last enemy just for fullHP polished fresh off the break Bulwark to sprint in and steal the execution.
Sound advice, my friend. Keep up the good fight, in the God Emperor's name! I'm looking forward to seeing this channel grow - you have officially acquired a new subscriber ^_^ As for the tips to avoid, for anyone else reading this - please, PLEASE, play with your team instead of against them. You're not in a competition with your brothers, you will ALL be getting mission XP, so don't try to undermine others to eek out a miserable +10xp boost (I wish I didn't have to say this, but I've encountered some certified asshats recently).
I would add the following Rules: Look whats going on behind you and dont rush foward to fast. - Had lost enough rounds cause of team mates that just keeps pushing forward while the other 2 fight way behind cause the one pushing didnt interrupt reinforcment calls. Unlike Campaign in the Ops the enemys will spawn behind you too. Mostly there where the majority of the team is, but even on a single heavy that was left behind fighting 2-3 Majoris from the last wave. So maybe remember the quote from another youtuber: !!!Speed without haste!!! Also if you wonder off alone, you need to deal with all sorts of things alone, handle minoris horde, and mostly ppl dont interrupt reinforcment calls and then mess up and after getting overwhelmed they rage quit and leave the rest of team in the trouble... Dont be like this. Be aware of your team mates. Also i want to agree with the point. Go in the difficulty, that suits your class LvL. if you -1 the recommended lvl in random ops its fine in my opinion. But i also seen enough players with class lvl 4 , that going in difficulty 3/4 with recommended lvl is 10. 6 lvl under recommended isnt fair for the team you playing with. If its a lobby full of your friends go for it. if you do that in random, you will end kicked out, or asked to switch to a class with higher level. And the excuse i only played this class will not work. Then play 1 or 2 spare classes just in case. Also maybe give players that joined your lobby and have selected the same class you want to play a chance to switch before instantly kick them out.
Another minor change, If you have the right perk, as bulwark look after your teammates hp and armor, if they neutralize an ennemy for execution, put down that banner and get them back to full hp
To add to the first rule, on higher difficulties shoot the target in the duel rather than throwing yourself into the match, helps get the kill faster and your teammate can recharge the shield
advice i just learned: never panic and mash when it isnt picking up an item in battle, youll feel like a jerk when it finally registers and you grab both meds... ALSO assaults, i think we should try to save ammo for neurothropes and such, i feel like such a dunce when im just below it waving a hammer around because i was heavy bolting gaunts.
Kinda simple when you think about it but should follow the unwritten rule: do not engage medium or large enemies in groups unless you can get the kill. The idea is you don’t want to attract another group of enemies to your position and have either or both groups call for reinforcement's while your teammates and yourself are busy fighting something that might spawn like a large/heavy enemy.
Another minor rule. Know your teammates abilities and use them to your advantage. I am a Heavy main so becoming the anti range damage shield is my forte, however if you see a shit ton of range coming your way dip behind me and pull out your pistol or keep firing, nothing good comes from you running out in front only to watch your health bar disappear faster than a rubric marine mid melee fight. Everyone loves an auspex scan pop up it means easy killings, watching an assault crater a pack of tyranids is always fun to watch, grappling to the majoris to kill them so you can remove a nuisance or melt a pack of nids always great, the banner is a saviour beacon in the unrelenting hordes, and a stealthed sniper helps everyone up or smashes damage to no extent.
guy got mad that i took an execute before banner, later he was at a tiny sliver of health, i left an execute for him and i had full banner, he just walked past even tho i pinged it for him. the guy got up and killed me.
The one for me is target priority, specifically for the xenos 1) Ball launchers - obnoxious in every way and need to go fast, will mess up all fights 2) Terminus enemies 3) Snipers - stupid damage 4) Any extremis 5) any majoris 6) little ranged turds 7) leftovers
Always ping Dataslates, Guardian Relics, Geneseeds and Armoury Data when they're found, even if no-one needs them. It helps other people learn where they spawn.
#1 rule is don’t execute if you don’t need to. If your full armor don’t execute if someone else can. If your ranged don’t execute with your ranged weapon if someone else can. Only EVER execute with a ranged weapon if everyone else is moved on. Every single class in this game can be considered a healer just by leaving an execute for the person who needs it.
My kids give games nicknames. This one they just call “Violence.” Saber, you did a good job. We mob the guy with whip, if you were aren’t using fencing weapons. That gets to an important part. You’re gonna earn more armor data than you can spend, so always use a fencing weapon and spend your data to master the other versions of all melee weapons.
Fellow sniper here, i would like to say I play the game honorably, i will carry the gene seed to victory! Also even tho i snipe the bigger targets first I always got your back!
I disagree a little with your first rule. There have been plenty of times where teaming up on Majoris enemies together is more effective. Your solution is to communicate and ask; but nobody has time, nor is it logical to talk through every kill, especially on higher difficulties. Sure one guy may hoard more of the executions, but over all your team will be taking less damage collectively, if you are dealing unrelenting damage.
It's important to distinguish set ups from steals. If the sniper rails a headshot, that's a set up, and it's meant for anyone. If the assault is boxing a warrior in the corner, that's a fight you let play out. Also, even in ruthless there's still time for communication.
@@requiemagent3014go back to dark souls with that attitude. It was bad there, it's worse anywhere else. You have no obligation to continue playing with people you just think are bad. Always stay closer. The rule 1 is always like this: "if you have full armor, left the executions to your team mates who doesn't have armor". Only execute if you wanna get rid of the smaller ones quickly so everyone doesn't get swarm quickly. If you pick heavy ... MultiMelta is better for keep everything clean around your teammates. A great team is the one who always start with something like: "Emperor Protects". Also a must rule: Your teammates aren't teammates ... THEY ARE YOUR BROTHERS!!!! And fighting and dying beside your brothers is a honor. In other words, don't be a d*ck and play your best.

Had one idiot get angry at me because I didn’t revive him and he was down in a bunch of those green brambles and surrounded by devourer tyranids. I chose to thin out numbers rather than risk being another down
I have not met a single player who talked shit in the game.
That happened to me a few days ago but I solved that by forcing them to fight the carnifex. They left shortly there after
Personaly i follow the rule:
Genseed Carrier gets stim Privilege.
Careful though some people have reported the Geneseed can fall through the floor sometimes after being swapped out for a relic

The codex supports these actions
My personal rules are:
1. Ping important consumables like stims and Armor Boosts
2. Save Krak grenades on the off chance that a Neuro/Zoan shows up
3. When I play heavy, clear the chaff and then began fools in the head to help get those execs
-You can use the Objectives button (TAB on PC by default, I think) to check what items teammates are holding
-If you're not sure who an item should go to, mark it. If everybody ignores it and runs ahead, the item is yours.
You’re not gonna get this level of cohesion across an entire community, just play well and be done with it. A lot of these complaints can’t be helped.
I'm here for the ride and fine with them experimenting with changes and altering things where they feel it's needed, as the core gameplay is just that satisfying.

a simple rule pt2: Ping Ammo for your Heavy Please!... as a heavy player, if im out of ammo and have to melee, id fold to a wet paper bag since the melee takes so long and doesnt do any damage instead of a bash and stagger

Tbh, with the armor damage fixed, and being able to keep armor against swarms with parry, they didnt need to cut the enemy numbers in half.
You must not play chaos before the patch, I can get that for Tyranids but chaos was wack imo
I played on ruthless all day after the patch and it feels like they increased the amount of enemies for the tyranids because, I feel like I am getting swarmed more than before unless I’m probably trippin. I really do feel that more enemies have been spawning.😅
They only cut the Thousand Sons numbers down. They probably did do a bit much, but its better than it was.

My bulwark is a salamander, so I try to embody that as much as possible. Role-playing!
3:12 Ok, that was cool transition! :D
also, if you get your red helthbar depleted, and have no way to deal masive damage, USE YOUR STIM BEFORE THE WHITE BAR GOES DOWN!!!:.. that will replenish the whole thing, instead of saving the stims for later..
I'm guilty of stealing execution. Get into the moment seeing the flashing red enemy.
As a Bulwark main, i save all the ammo boxes for the teamates who really need them.
The spirit of Scout TF2 is alive and well in some players.
As a Vanguard, I ping ammo boxes first. If the others go past, then I pick it. And since getting the heal on Majoris kill perk, I tend to leave the stims with a ping.
1) Stick togeder and coordinate: do not wander around triggering enemies just because you wanna see if crates are around or the ServoSkull is floating before the others: go solo if you only care about collecting things
2) matchmakng does not prevent a low level to go into Ruthless: if you happen to be a low level in higher difficoulty scenarios, telle the party and leave, do not sandbag people.
I absolutely hate the ppl who do no dmg 2 an enemy but spam execution button so dey get da kill, ESPECIALLY if u have no shield

Playing as a sniper I setup enemies to be staggered for my allies to get armor/contested health. From first time running an operation until now,
I had a sniper that shot the enemy maybe 6 times the entire op. I kept asking myself why would anyone pick sniper to just go into melee. Fortunately, the heavy was a good guy. Whenever the choice was between protecting him or the sniper, always chose him because we played multiple missions together, and we were clicking pretty well.

This. The amount of time/ammo I've seen wasted in this exact scenario is mind boggling
depends on the map, in the first mission if one spawns before you cross the ridge to the big open area in entrance to the refinery then they will spawn on the other side of the ridge after the break through rock thing.
Eh, I like fighting enemies, and I can always use weapon xp.
Running away from enemies of the Imperium? HERESY.
Great video!
every player needs to follow these to heart!
there are a couple of things I'd like to point out if you don't mind. (no disrespect)
-Executions: Help allies to disable the enemy, but don't go for the kill. help them save their health and armor, a couple of good shots or melee strikes can help a lot.
Tl;dr: Be a helpful, respectful human being with situational awareness activated.
i find it very annoying when players, especially console player, who don't turn of their microphone and blasting a) music like CCR or other shit, b) and by the throne, having soundfeedback from the game, like tv on full volume, mic thinks it's talking and streams it nonstop. annoying af.
God that's so bad in GTAV
Console peasants...let's move for an "assault" console ban. After all, consoles kill people, not people.
CCR is good shit.
@@jimr148 it just happend and is fresh in my memory. yes, CCR is actually good. i just don't want to listin to their music/other background noises.
Really, anyone that doesn't use Push To Talk should be arrested for the sake of society.
At one point, I revived a sniper 8 times. We played again, communicated better, and he played way better too
Check your squad's carried equipment when looking to share, just because someone is sitting at low HP doesn't mean you need to sit there spam pinging a stim for them, they might already be carrying and are deliberately saving to clear a wound on higher difficulties, have some sort of death defy off cooldown they'd rather have trigger before burning a limited resource, or get some sort of bonus whilst being low. If they're not carrying then they'll probably be greatful for the safety net, but if they don't want it, don't try and force it and top yourself up.
I think having good communication with your team is probably one of the biggest unwritten rules for any game
I’m not seeing any comments on the seamless editing between classes, so I’ll leave one: great job dude!
6. You do not have to fight the enemy reinforcements! please get on the elevator brother!
Counterpoint to the grenades
Heavy has a perk to give an extra grenade after ~10 quick kills, it's usually worth giving them a krak pair for their equipment economy
Bulwark is so fun to play. Going waste-deep in ‘nids and just swinging for the fucking fences is so satisfying
C6 6
addendum: if you plan to speedrun, get people who also want to do that or at the very least announce it to the rest of the team
thats corny. put that effort into making friends to play with.
If the pyro trap is armed, wait for tyranids to actually be in the blast radius before setting it off
Dunno is anyone mentioned this, but- the hud does display brothers’ shield and health bars. You can gauge when others need your buffs from banners or other supports. Don’t save it, use it.
Also:
Don’t be a spastic loot goblin.
The scene transitions were so good!
When someone picks up the Armory Data use the 'Thank You' command.
ALSO assaults, i think we should try to save ammo for neurothropes and such, i feel like such a dunce when im just below it waving a hammer around because i was heavy bolting gaunts.
that transition at around 3:10 was so clean
If someone gets upset over simple accidents, I would just say help yourself and hope you get better luck with teammates next time.
The one for me is target priority, specifically for the xenos
1) Ball launchers - obnoxious in every way and need to go fast, will mess up all fights
2) Terminus enemies
3) Snipers - stupid damage
4) Any extremis
5) any majoris
6) little ranged turds
7) leftovers
holy, the transition on 1:24 is crazy good
1:23 what a transition! Nice!
This one they just call “Violence.”
Saber, you did a good job.
I would argue a good team comp is one for priority targets, one for hordes and one that can handle both if needed.
Nonsense. All three meta classes can delete a Majoris in seconds. What do you need two people for? Either git gud or play a different class
@@requiemagent3014go back to dark souls with that attitude. It was bad there, it's worse anywhere else. You have no obligation to continue playing with people you just think are bad. Your refusal to help them in the one mission before you leave just makes YOU bad. Keep your meat shields alive, hot shot.
@@JebblesJunior This. I had a game yesterday where a sniper kept headshotting executable enemies as I ran up to them. Me and my mate ended up leaving the party after the mission was over, we were simply missing out on too many armour top-offs.
Definitely, might as well sit back and watch your teammates lead the whole campaign. This guy should solo the Hive Tyrant on Ruthless if he wants people to live by his "Respect the 1v1."
my main rule. if a wave comes always rotate your cam every now and again to see if teammates need help especially the heavy or sniper
Idk if anyone else said but great scene transitions! 💯 also good to know that most of us agreed on a majority of these ‘unspoken’ rules.
Brothers together strong! 🦍🦍🦍
For mic-less players, please use the social wheel/mark out items for people, and give people a second to come back to grab it if they need it before you hoover it up.
God i wish more people followed the first one
Last match i got ganked by a few warriors as bulwark and lost a pretty good chunk of health, but the heavy charged plasma and put 4 of them into execution status, so i pop banner thinking "heyy free team fullheal :)" only for the heavy to charge plasma again and kill them all
Good shit heavy, thank you
4:48 That was a clean transition
