pov: it’s 1967 and you and your friends are having some drinks at a party. it’s 11:13 PM, it’s raining outside, and this music comes on. everyone gathers around with their partners, and you just sit and stare at a wall with a blank expression. you think about your crush and how much you’d love to kiss them and be with them. you decide to look outside and see your crush on a bench. they also have a blank expression, and you open the door and lightning strikes. you bring your umbrella and walk outside towards your crush. you sit on the bench next to them and hand them your umbrella. a shooting star blasts across the sky, lighting the whole sky for about 3 seconds. you look at each other and laugh. “i love you” you blurt, not even meaning to. they giggle. “i love you too” they say. they wrap their hands around the back of your neck and pull you in for a kiss. you kiss back. it feels like an eternity. it starts raining harder and you kiss more intensely. they wrap their arms around your waist and hug you. you hug back. you both smile and kiss again. you stand and start dancing, still hearing the music. you slow dance as you’re dripping wet, and you kiss again.
POV: You are all alone in your living room. But you can't help but notice your neighbour singing. You go over to the wall a sit down and listen to them. You suddenly believe you have fallen in love with them although, they're already in a relationship.
You were walking home. Your phone died so Uber wasn’t an option. And you lost your umbrella so you had to walk in the summer downpour. It wasn’t as bad as you thought it would be. It was hot, but the rain kept you refreshed and the sound of the drops hitting the ground was calming. You grinned a little imagining what this moment would feel like with your crush. Walking with them, talking with them, laughing with them. Obviously, you were crushing on them hard, you just never had the confidence to confess. They were always honest with you and you could trust them. You felt so safe and happy around them. They cared about you. You had known them for a while. Since how long ago? Preschool? Maybe they felt the same way about you, too. Getting home dry became the least of your worries. You were going to tell them how you felt. As you made your way to their neighborhood, you could hear music playing faintly. It looked like they had people over as multiple cars were parked out front. You got ready to cross the street to their front yard when you froze. There they were, laughing and chilling with a bunch people. The music was muffled but you could hear its lyrics being sung clearly. You watched as they turned to the person next to them and put their arm around them. The way they looked at that person. You wanted to leave but your feet seemed rooted to that spot. You watched as that person you loved from afar for so long kissed someone else. Your eyes watered and tears streamed down your face only to be washed away by the rain like another drop as if to imitate the way you felt: unnoticed, irrelevant, and just another person to the one you truly loved. You wished it could be you. You walked away, snifling and stifling sobs, the raindrops suddenly making you feel damp and uncomfortable. The music faded away, being silenced by the raindrops.

POV: you are watching anime and wonder “Only if Anime boys exist...”. Then you look up to your window to see your neighbor eating some oatmeal looking sad and then sigh “I guess we’re both depressed...”
POV: you have an axe in your hands suddenly, feel a rush of adrenaline while you’re slowly walking up to your enemies house. Split second later, theres blood on walls, you staring at a decapitated body. Blood everywhere, limbs- tossed around. You now feel something rare. A good feeling. Hungry, headache, and tired.
I always think of something murderous when i hear songs like this, and ye, i like those feelings combined. I also love violence

But then it gets all vague 'cause your teacher goes to another school in Itomori and teaches japanese lit and kataware doki and stuff then a meteorite (tiamat) strikes the whole town of itomori and she died. But then a guy named Taki switch bodies with Mitsuha and goes back in time and saves the people of Itomori, including, supposedly, your damn teacher. Then it isn't about you anymore. Taki and Mitsuha goes to tokyo and meets and ask for each other's name is because they forgot and the movie ends and the next time we saw them is on Weathering with You, not even knowing whether they ended up together or what. But then in that film, a couple struggles in a dilemma of whether they will break up or flood the whole damn tokyo. They flooded tokyo, and we got the great ending we deserved.
