The intro to Frozen Pines makes me teary every time. It captures the feeling of loss so well, and hearing it from that many other people before hearing the song itself hits hard.
Frozen Pines -- just wow. Lost my beloved mother and best friend a year ago, and there's something almost therapeutic about this version and the phone calls from others facing similar emotions that opens the spigots, but also reassures -- like the song itself -- that we're never really alone. So thankful to have come across this band and the special music they make.
A while back I ordered a bunch of stuff from their website like a hoodie and a copy of the whispering pines DVD and a record and a puzzle. Then randomly like a couple weeks later I got a package from them which I thought was weird cuz I didn't order anything. I opened it up and it was a free copy of The whispering pines DVD with a thank you for being a loyal fan note. I thought that was so cool of them to send those out.

Lord Huron makes me feel so nostalgic for a place I've never been. Their music makes me remember summers in Michigan and just good times in general. Best band.
These guys played a “green festival” in Milwaukee in 2016. I got free tix and went with my wife to hear a bunch of bands we had never heard of. We struck up conversation with a very cool couple and we found out that Lord Huron was the band they were there to see. “Oh yeah? How are they?” I asked the guy “Dude, I drove here from Montana to see them play.” That’s near a 20 hour drive to see a band so of course we had to stay to see. I am so glad. This has been my favorite band ever since. I’ve seen them at the haunted Stanley hotel in Estes park Colorado. I’ve seen them in the Hollywood forever cemetery in Los Angeles. I would gladly travel far and wide for the chance to see these guys play.

I absolutely love this band. LH is my favorite band. I love how of all the songs relate to people’s personal experiences and emotions. For me, listening to LH saved my life. I’ve never thought that this music would ever make me feel a certain way. Also, I love how each song has impeccable imagery. You can make a mental image in your head on what is happening in the song. It’s so magical and beautiful.

I lost my Dad back in February and I never got to say good bye and hadn't seen him in a couple years. I miss him dearly but every time I hear Frozen Pines I weep. Thank you for putting together such a magical melody, you all are what get people through it.

I went to a festival back in march and the last episode of whispering pines is how i ended my night the last night. It was 3am and as the high came down, i put my speaker on my chest and laid on top of my car staring at the stars until i fell asleep. I had a few people come up to me the next morning and thank me for the soothing music. Love you guys!

SO happy I got to see them live in 2014 at Summer Meltdown. They really are great live. Had a full moon behind the audience and the singer pointed it out between songs and had everybody howl. It was so fun.
